Between O’reily (which is almost impossible unless a buy back is included) & Mathis Amougou with less than 900 minutes of top flight football.

Sounds about right LOL. At least Amougou could potentially have an easy chant for the supporters to sing as he warms the bench ... get your Black Lace party outfits on LOL

February 2, 20251 yr Nico o'reilly with 1 senior appearance. What is the point. Rak Sakyi has more experience, has already trained with the team for a few months. Then there is Kiano Dyer too. We are not winning anything with these sporting directors. This is not how any ambitious club acts in the window.

Joke club with no ambition. Of course no serious professional of any standing will want to come to this club.

Remember we need to stagger our pure profits over windows as well.

I am sure someone can confirm this as I don't know the answer but: Putting aside those players that the new regime have used to cover up their appalling business acumen, are there any players purchased by this fking hideous fabrication of the club that we now have to suffer, that these morons have actually turned a profit on. Is it any wonder no player that has any senior football on their cv wants to come here.
February 2, 20251 yr You had one job for 6 months- find us a striker and now it’s 24 hours to go and we still are here. These directors can’t manage this for a size of Chelsea club.. deserve to be sacked for this shambles we have been this window..

They have sold 5 players that they have bought to date Koulibaly and Aubameyang at a big loss (about £25m combined or so) Angelo Gabriel for about £6m profit ; Diego Moreira for a small profit. Remains to be seen where we with Casadei. I think a small loss, but if he moves from Torino at some point, then profit from the sell on clause.

Glad we were so backwards and uneducated in how to maximum potential in football. W*nkers

W*nkers I reckon they have probably overpaid for players to the tune of about £400m, offset about 20-25% by getting lucky on Palmer. You can add two seasons of no shirt sponsor to that revenue hit. Plus I reckon they paid at least £500m-£1bn too much for the club at the beginning, based on what other clubs (e.g. Newcastle) were sold for. Roman paid £140m when he bought us in 2003. BlueCo paid £2.3-2.5bn depending on what you read (with the promise to invest another £1.75bn on top of that). I know Roman paid out a lot on player transfers, but I'm really not sure there was £2+ billion of upside in 20 years to take the club's valuation up to what BlueCo paid. (£140m in 2025 is £251m according to the Bank of England's inflation calculator). What did Newcastle go for in 2021 ? £300m ?

Don't think there is anyone that is worth more than they paid for apart from Palmer and maybe Madueke.
