Linked with Douglas Luiz on loan from Juve. Should have signed him in the summer when he moved for £42m to Juve. The KDH & Omari Kellyman fees would have more than covered his fee. Think he is quality, and can play the DM/Box2Box role perfectly. He offers us more control in the middle of the park, and is a goal threat going forward.

Why would Juve loan him out though, is he not playing there?

But why ask for him on loan when we can simply recall one of Santos and Lesley?

Yep

Signed 11th August 2022 for £1.7m. Less than 3 weeks later back he went on "undisclosed" terms.

2 and a half years, 29 appearances (1,654 minutes) and 4 goals later he is apparently now worth £55m LOL.

Naturally he is currently out injured as well 🙂

Anyway my good pal sh*tty Phil tells me that this is all part of an elaborate money-laundering scheme cooked up by the "Krauts" that run Dibling's agency. The "Yanks" that run our club are natural criminals so were of course on board. (Believe me, he has connections at Southampton, he appeared on Le Tissier's anti-vax podcast, apparently the amount of cocaine lying around was like the PGMOL end-of-season party)

Yep, the club did the right thing by a young player who wasnt happy and basically cancelled the transfer, and its obviously helped him.

Also obviously this is because were the stupidest/worst club ever etc...

If he did stay in our youth setup he'd probably make the odd sub appearance in a few Conference League matches and be seen as pure profit to the highest bidder.  But if we sign him for £55 million this window he's an instant squad player/starter.   The bizarre workings of the Clearlake money ball philosophy.

Hoping that means he replaces Santos at Strasbourg inevitably.

Hmm if Bayern interest is geninue might be hard to sold on to Santos. 

Zinchenko looks like he’s leaving Arsenal this month.

I know he’s abit of a crybaby but he can play in midfield and full back, I imagine he’s cheap too, experienced.

Surely that’s better than going for some 14 year old?

Not sure what point you're trying to make. The reality is, as was mentioned above, we signed him for £1.7m before he returned home. He has since made a total of 29 senior appearances and apparently is now worth £55m. Regardless of whatever went before entertaining £55m for a lad with this level cv, is crazy, especially at this time and with the issues we have elsewhere.
