Adds a different profile of striker until we can pull the trigger on someone realistic. Unless of course the club will go all out for Gyokeres, but i doubt that'll happen.

A class below the likes of Chiesa who, sadly, will never realise his potential.

May 19, 20251 yr I think it's a bad idea but it's probably worth the £20m just to enjoy Jim having to spend a season pretending that Vlahović is better than Jackson.

He will be better than Jackson
May 20, 20251 yr Vlahovic is good in the air and can finish outside the box, two things we categorically suck at. However, he also tends to ignore players in better positions around the box and takes a lot of shots. He has been frustrating and his support at Juve has been mixed. The biggest issue for me, however, is his injury history - he had hamstring injuries as a young player, and seems to have recurring niggling groin/thigh injuries since. That's a big red flag for me given he would be playing in a much more intense league.

May 20, 20251 yr With the end of the season 2 games away the seasonal Clearlake Clear out™ is upon us. Where all the terrible transfer mistakes can be brushed under the carpet. We can probably afford to buy a big marquee signing like a striker maybe for this Club World Cup, but feels like we need a big clear out before we buy more players.Players we need to sell but will most likely be loaned.SterlingChilwellNkunkuFelixChukwuemekaDewsbury-HallBadiashileDatro FofanaKepaDisasiRenato VeigaUgochukwuBrojaWashingtonWouldn't be surprised if we need to get rid of others like Sanchez or Tosin if we buy replacements for them either. Figure by the time we've sorted out where most of them are going it will be right at the end of the transfer window giving us just enough time to panic buy the future loan army.

Think we can get more for Kepa he's actually proven to be quite good for Bournemouth this season. Nkunku, have to hope there still teams that value him highly so we can get a bit more for him. Getting rid of Felix and Sterling needs to be the priority.
May 21, 20251 yr That strategy being the WinStupid Aldi bargain bucket Strategy. We're going to pay £25m to Man U for Sancho - AmortisedSell Sancho to Dortmund for £35m - Cash in BankBuy Jamie Gittens for £45m - Amortised. If he stays fit for long enough eventually loan Gittens out when Maresca stops playing him cos he doesn't fit his model.Fck me.It doesn't matter if we win or lose on Sunday, there is no winning mentality or ambition at this club. Not in any sporting sense.
May 21, 20251 yr And they will continue to scratch their heads as to why we are always battling for a final champions league place season after season. Made my case a while ago but depending on this summer transfer window and if certain individuals are still starting for us, I may actually ignore next season completely.
May 21, 20251 yr Not saying he’s a bad player but Rodrygo like most of the Real squad is over hyped cause they play in white. Dont think he’s this exceptional talent that we need to break the bank and wage structure for. I rather we don’t spend £80 plus million on a player can’t see any player that’s that good at the moment. If we’re to splurge many pounds I’d rather take the risk on Wirtz, Bundesliga tax an’ all.
May 22, 20251 yr The thought of Garnacho terrifies me. Really worried we are now going to try to sign him and massively overpay for hands down the most overrated player in world football at the moment. He is just a product of this teenage generation driven by social media and the desperation of United fans who wanted a shiny new golden boy coming from the Academy and overrated him like nobody else before.
May 22, 20251 yr ALL THESE ARE FROM DAILY MAIL+ (BEHIND THEIR PAYWALL)Rodry-no-goChelsea are being heavily linked with Real Madrid star Rodrygo. However, I’m hearing you should avoid pinning your hopes on a sensational swoop for the 24-year-old winger, even if the LaLiga giants do make him available for sale this summer.Meanwhile, this column detailed on April 30 how Chelsea sources were adamant that Enzo Fernandez is going nowhere this summer, even if Real escalate their interest. That stance remains the same, despite the Spaniards having him sitting on their midfield shortlist.Chelsea to pitch project to Delap after his United talksConfidential has been told Liam Delap remains a possible signing for Chelsea, despite Manchester United being touted as the club in pole position to land him this summer, with the Ipswich striker still seen as suited to the Blues’ model and style.United have held in-person talks with Delap over a move – with the permission of his club – but it is understood Chelsea will also get the chance to pitch their project to the 22-year-old Englishman before he makes a final decision on his future.Working in their favour is how Enzo Maresca already has an existing relationship with Delap, who scored a bundle of goals during their year together in Manchester City's youth set-up.While exceptions can be made for the odd market opportunity, Chelsea remain keen to stick to their current strategy in buying the world's best young talent before watching them mature and develop. Delap suits that more than the other expensive options on their striker shortlist.

May 22, 20251 yr Chelsea to try sign Benjamin Sesko if they qualify for the Champions LeagueOne of the names who has been mentioned as a target is Benjamin Sesko. Chelsea were tipped to make an approach for Sesko instead of Victor Osimhen, another player who has been on the shortlist for some time.Sunday’s result may play a part in the magnitude of player they are able to attract. According to The Guardian, the Blues are likely to make a move for Sesko if they can offer him Champions League football for next season.

It’s not just about footballing ability, he is toxic, his family/brother on instagram is toxic. You can tell a mile away, ego of Ronaldo without anything to show for it. Nightmare.

Nightmare. He's genuinely shunned on the national team too. It's actually quite funny. No one wants anything to do with him and they make jokes to his face constantly, especially his bent Ronaldo obsession.
