I'd only like Joao Pedro if it meant he wasn't the only striker AND it meant moving Palmer to right wing.

Having a striker with Pedro at CF/CAM would be great given we need more goals in the team.

I can't stand Joao Pedro, who seems to have a crap attitude and is an overall loose cannon. Perhaps like Costa, he just needs to play for you to like him.

That said I don't rate him that highly either...

Joao Pedro is a good player but he seems like one of those players that doesn't really have position, I'm not sure if this is meant to be someone filling the void at LW or as a striker? If it's left wing I don't mind it, but if we're thinking he's the answer to our striker problem we've lost our minds.

Pretty sure our last two free signings were Thiago Silva and Ballack. They turned out to be colossal for us.

Oh hang on I forgot Tosin was free too. I don’t think anyone can complain about him, he seems to be a really good presence in dressing room.

If I’m correct, 3 free signings in 20 years is really poor.

Tbf, the market is nuts.

Bar Gyokeres, there isn’t a striker worth the value their clubs are placing on them. All are massive, massive gambles whereas at the very least Delap is both proven in this league, has resale value and is available for peanuts.

Guehi brings leadership and experience which we desperately need. Wouldn’t be overly expensive either.

Begovic cost us 8m pounds, but Schwarzer came for free.

Others include legends like Sidwell and Malang Sarr, plus the already flipped for money laundering Diego Moreira more recently... I'm probably forgetting a few, but that's the ones I remember without a through research.

Delap would be okay as one of two striker signings but Guehi for me is a small, average, defender. Can't see any benefit in signing him, tbh. In fact don't we have a sell on. So there's the reason why this mob will do it.
