June 7, 20251 yr Liverpool's latest offer for Wirtz is 134M. Crazy money. Apparently Leverkusen trying to get the fee closer to 150M. They will probably get it done at something over 140M. I have to admit I have never watched a Leverkusen match for more than 5 minutes straight during the past years, but that is some insane money, superstar tier kind of money.Wirtz, Kerkez, Frimpong for over 200M and that's before a new centre forward and possibly a new left winger, too. A blockbuster transfer campaing for them. Liverpool must be feeling confident they have some players (Diaz, Jota, Nunez?) ready to leave for some big amounts, as well.

Everyone can score there.

Frimpong is also worse than Trent defensively, he isn’t even a RB. Slot by winning the league has a lot of goodwill in the bank, but you just wonder if it might go tits up quickly.

And they bought him a year ago for half a million and so now we are looking to buy him for 11 million+. Of course we are, of course. why not?

June 7, 20251 yr Delap, Gittens and Maignan for a total amount in the region of 80M is top business IMHO. And this is before even selling anyone. I think these three will be the only ones brought before the Club World Cup and as soon as the window develops and we also get rid of some transfer listed ones (and there is a lot!) the board will look for some oportunities on experienced players. At least I hope that they will bring some good, experienced ones as well, especially in defence.

June 11, 20251 yr Chelsea have fallen in love with Jesus Rodriguez and are hopeful of landing the winger this summer. Fans will be able to see his development in real time at the U21 Euros this summer. (@NathSalt1 @MailSport) #CFC

June 12, 20251 yr Man City have no issue agreeing a sensible price in days for Reijnders from AC Milan. A. Madrid agree a 23M fee for T. Hernandez with Madrid within days. At what point to we admit we just aren’t very good at negotiating deals. We overpaid massively for Caicedo and Enzo too.
June 12, 20251 yr The reality is that we have two amateur sporting directors whose previous experience were being bang average scouts. From ownership, to the board, to the directors, to the manger, and to the players. It's genuinly a learn as you go type deal from top to bottom.
June 13, 20251 yr Linked with Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade now that it seems we have moved on from Ekitike. Rumored price at £35m. Bundesliga tax and all, but looks a bargain at that price. Technical player with good hold up play. Another who could suit a 2 striker system if we go that route next season.

Needs to go to a Forest and get regular game time first before stepping up.

I really wonder what makes this Woltemade bloke think that he'll fare better than Guiu, DD Fofana and Washington. He'll probably get 2-3 appearances next season before being discarded after we sign another unknown striker next summer.
June 13, 20251 yr I know highlights don't always prove that much, but he would definitely offer something different up top, especially if he can play off the striker. Could be a shrewd signing depending on the fee. Edited June 13, 20251 yr by Sunspear_88
