Yeah, I honestly don't think its feasible in any way, but I'd love to see Wirtz getting snatched away from them somehow just as they start to think it's a done deal.

Realistically I'd want us to get Mbeumo to replace Noni/Neto and a LW signing, not sure if Rodrygo will be available so maybe even have a go within the PL at Justin Kluivert/Eze, who can fit our wage structure and can give more output/consistency.

There's rumours linking us to Kudus of West Ham. West Ham want something like 80m+. For that money, I'd rather we enquire about his teammate, Bowen. I like Bowen and he's proven to score a good amount of goals over the last few seasons. Kudus has 5 goals and 3 assists this season which is hardly inspiring. Bowen on the other hand has 13 goals and 8 assists.

We've talked before about Bowen on here but he is Mr West Ham since Noble retired (even more so now he is Danny Dyer's son in law).

He's 28 so we probably wouldn't even look at him but he is an upgrade on all of our wide men. Could see Palmer, Delap and Bowen working very well.

I've been surprised nobody even bothered to go after Bowen. Last season he scored 16 goals, yet no links to anyone else. You would think he would want to play for a bigger team with CL football, though. Even Rice left WH eventually and I think many thought he was Mr West Ham at the time. Bowen has been there since 2020, so far less than Rice was. I'm just surprised nobody tried for him before now. As you say, his age is an issue now, but I'd still like to see us test those waters and maybe make a reasonable offer.

More suited to counter attacking football. Looks brilliant for West Ham but whenever he has been selected for England he has looked off.
