October 23, 201510 yr I have just been through this whole thread over the last 3 or 4 weeks. Its not just the best thread on the site, its not just the best thread on any forum, its possibly the best thing on the internet full stop. I started going in the late 80's and have seen several pics of games I was actually at, and even more great stories, pics and vids of such great crowd shots and atmospheres from years long before I started going. Well done to all the contributors to this epic thread.
October 24, 201510 yr I just beat you to it. Sat in the old East stand only once, when I was six, for the 5-2 defeat by Leeds in Jan 1970. Went with my granddad, who was worried I was going to get crushed in the crowds leaviing the Shed end after the match. In the seats there for my first ever game, Stoke 17/3/70
