Could someone please tell Joey Jones he has to put his socks on before his football boots !

Proper away strip and proper tracksuit.

I could have a guess at what season this picture was taken during...

Yes, proper kit. Photo taken in March 1984 prior to the away game at Newcastle.

The infamous Chelsea shed being used as a baby and toddler club on non match days, and the club shop looking like an old fashioned sex shop!!! How times have changed

That club shop reminds me of the pub just across the road called the Cross-Eyed Newt that I would frequent between 1-2.45pm on a Saturday afternoon for about 5 years.

2-1 win over Forest back in April 1977.

36,499 saw it.

Our scorers were: Ian Britton in the 63th and Steve Finnieston in the 87th minutes respectively.

Away to Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup in January, 1986. Two things I remember most about this game were that it was bloody cold and there was a snowball fight between the fans and players in the warm-up.

Great day out. We got there early and in a pub soon after it opened. Landlord had a guy on the door and he was saying how only locals in. Loads of Chels slipping in in ones and twos.

Got to ground just before gates opened and cops were saying might be called off when the special pulled in. Too late so game went ahead.

Seem to remember Speedie was main player exchanging snowballs with fans.

and that bloke with the coracle walking across pitch before kick off to get balls out of the river..

I downloaded these a while ago and forget about them if me or other members have posted them before apologies. Peter Borota looks like he's wearing a busby.

When goalkeepers had proper shirts worn by Borota.
