We beat them 3-0 at The Bridge earlier in the season too,

27th Sept 1969 in front of 46,370.

Our scorers were: Alan Birchenall in the 10th and 52nd minutes and Tommy Baldwin in the 85th minute.

A 1-1 draw on 19th Jan 85 at The Bridge.

34,752 saw it, David Speedie scoring for us in the 89th minute.

Check the state of the pitch !

March 87 and we beat Arsenal 1-0 at The Bridge.

Late Aug 1984 at Highbury. 1-1.

He is one of the players (non Chelsea) that I associate with football from the mid 1970s.

Cushty could be attributed to Only Fools but Ke -Mo -Sa -Bee was what Tonto called the Lone Ranger. When I was about 10, there was only one house in our street in Carshalton that had a television (about 12 inch screen from Radio Rentals). Every Saturday morning, about 20 of us would pile into the front room of the house and watch the Lone Ranger.
