October 12, 201510 yr I would say Halo was the mascot of Xbox and Xbox360. I bought these two consoles because of that game so yup it's kinda subjective. PS3 had a few, namely Kratos, Nathan Drake and Sackboy. Oh, and PS2 had Crash and Ratchet. Yeah, I remember playing the first Halo game, but FPS games generally just bore me to death, so it didn't seem like much fun. It was fun playing the first Quake against my schoolmates in our highschool's "computer lab", though. I'd played a bit of Wolfenstein and Doom, but after Quake I lost interest. I remember Sackboy, but is it really that well known by those who don't own a console? I mean Mario and Sonic are like Mickey Mouse. Even my mother knows Super Mario. It's a shame that Nintendo's consoles aren't as as good as the big two when it comes to hardware and performance, because they do seem to have more imagination when it comes to designing games. I must admit, I like the weird and quirky, although a good story always gets me hooked. That's probably why Grim Fandango is still probably my all time favourite. I've yet to try the new remastered version of it, though.

Games like Pokemon, Zelda and even Mario.
October 12, 201510 yr I'm not sure if you feel the same but I always felt that Nintendo's strength lies in making handheld games. Games like Pokemon, Zelda and even Mario. The only handheld Nintendo device I've owned is the original Game Boy, but because of that or despite that... To me Nintendo's best games have been released as console and arcade games. I've never thought of Zelda or Mario as handheld games. Pokemon is definitely a handheld gaming franchise, though.
October 13, 201510 yr I think he means a month. I was paying 112 pound a month to sky for sky sports and movies, and Internet. This wasn't even including bt sports! sh*t the bed. That's obscene!

October 13, 201510 yr Wasteland 2 Director's Cut is out on Steam, installing it now. It's free for all Wasteland 2 owners. Tempted to buy it on Steam. It costs $39 but I'm only left with $20 in my Steam wallet. Not sure If I should top up my wallet.
October 13, 201510 yr Anyone who has played Dying Light... I'm about to leave the Slums and go to a new part of the city so have been recommended to do the slums side quests now. Will I be able to come back for them and do them later or will this be my last chance? Never mind, pretty sure I found the answer! Edited October 13, 201510 yr by RichardCFC

I'm sure you know you can travel back and forth eventually. I would recommend you to do them first before going to sector 0. *hint*
October 13, 201510 yr This is bollox. Surely you meant a month? And even then it sounds steep. Surely? I can't believe this. Month sorry. It was movies, HD, multi-room, the whole shabam.
October 13, 201510 yr Anyone considering getting the Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone expansion? £8 - meant to be 10-20 hours worth of content. I think it's in the same map though unlike other DLCs such as Far Cry which created a new map Apparently it's just in an area barely used in the main game (the North East)
October 13, 201510 yr Speaking of which, I was just going to play the Witcher to do a few side quests but it required an update taking up a whopping 16gb of space! Fair play to the developers though, still patching a critically acclaimed game trying to achieve perfection. Edited October 13, 201510 yr by RichardCFC

I think it's in the same map though unlike other DLCs such as Far Cry which created a new map Apparently it's just in an area barely used in the main game (the North East) I bought it on Steam for about £6. Haven't really played it yet, but the reviews are really good. IMO, I wouldn't mind playing in a same map as long as there is a new story and more boss fights. Speaking of which, I was just going to play the Witcher to do a few side quests but it required an update taking up a whopping 16gb of space! Fair play to the developers though, still patching a critically acclaimed game trying to achieve perfection. That is what I like about CD Projekt, they are always improving their games to satisfy their fan base. Unlike EA....
October 13, 201510 yr Unlike EA.... Hey, if it aint broke don't fix it, and if it is broke, f**k it, we'll maybe sort it next year and charge £40 again.
October 13, 201510 yr Got a new squad. Decided to try La Liga Konoyanka is absolutely sensational. His finesse shooting from outside he box is immaculate. Suarez though. Just wow.
October 13, 201510 yr Hey, if it aint broke don't fix it, and if it is broke, f**k it, we'll maybe sort it next year and charge £40 again. Haha. I wouldn't be surprised if their CEO actually said that to his guys.

October 14, 201510 yr Tempted to buy it on Steam. It costs $39 but I'm only left with $20 in my Steam wallet. Not sure If I should top up my wallet. W2 was $25 as pre-purchase in July 2013 :) Check some keyshops, I'm sure you'll find a better deal.

October 14, 201510 yr Got my ps4 yesterday. Bought fifa16 and dying light. I got bored quick with FIFA quick but got hooked on dying light. Anyone play until dawn yet? Any good?
October 14, 201510 yr I re-downloaded Assassin's Creed Black Flag. Such a great game, I mean pirate ship...shanties being sung. Then you go ashore and shank people. It's brilliant.
October 14, 201510 yr Dying Light - brilliant game. Really enjoyed it. Haven't played the DLC. Black Flag - again brilliant game. That and AC Brotherhood are my favourite games.

Until dawn is not bad. But it's kinda short and the story is rather meh. Nonetheless, if you're a die-hard horror game fan then you may consider getting it.
