Any game recommendation?

I played a 6 hour trial of Dragon Age Inquisition when it first came out and found it decent enough but didn't like it enough to buy it. I have it now with EA Access but haven't played it yet. I will at some point, definitely. I'm sure when I play I'll be comparing it to the Witcher throughout, probably unfavourably! Haven't played any of the others.

Haha, yeah. Inquisition starts out slow and gets better along the way, it's still not as good as Witcher 3 though. If you want to, you may skip Inquisition and play Dragon Age Origins (the first of the trilogy) instead.

I still regard it as one of the best action RPGs ever made.

So you can play witcher 1 and 2 on PS 4 right? So ps4 is backward compatible?I know I have been missing on the gaming scene a lot. I am one of those guys who hate to start a game series from the last. Lol. Its like an ocd.

Thanks a lot to everyone for the suggestions, I know where to start now. Off to YouTube now.

PS4 isn't backwards compatible so you wouldn't be able to play Witcher 1 or 2 on it. Unless you feel like you have to, don't worry about it because it caters for newbies to the series really well. Xbox One is becoming backwards compatible soon.

Another 360 game to add to the list when/if it becomes available on Xbox One.

I went back to the demo last night and really enjoyed it so I thought I'd just buy it before I go back to hating it again.

Haha! It's a good game IMO.

You may want to tweak the user settings though. The passes do feel slow and players often get out of position (or are slow to react). These settings may somewhat help.

I loved the PES demo. But figs 16 came with the ps4 so didn't really have much of a choice. It's not too bad. Really struggled with shooting initially but starting to get the gist of it already. For any ultimate team players Coutinho is an absolute monster. Although the gameplay felt better when I tried PES. The pitch scenes on figs are too good. Exactly like super Sunday on ss1 the way the teams are displayed and the music in the background.

Played a few matches, plays well.

Think you need to rank up a bit to fully appreciate the game.

It's cool, it's Star Wars but I don't know if I'll buy it.

I prefer single player experiences to online multiplayer nowadays.

I really enjoyed playing Battlefront last night. Not a Star Wars fan but the game is fun and the graphics are as good as I've ever seen in a game.

The Walker Assault mode needs balancing imo, too easy on the Walker's side.

Battlefront is fun, purely case it's Star Wars not cause the game itself is anything special, but could have been so much better. It's just a generic FPS and they couldn't even get basic aspects of that right.

The first of the AAA games I was looking forward too, is a massive disappointment. No single player campaign is ridiculous...

Oh well...roll on Fallout 4.

I feel the same way too.

No doubt it looks good but single-player content is an absolute must-have in games nowadays. It's so boring without some offline action.

In any case, I'll always prefer singer-player campaigns over these MMO stuff.

There are single player modes but no single player campaign which is disappointing I agree. It's disappointing mainly because a Star Wars campaign would have been so awesome.

I'm enjoying the beta, but not enough to spend £45 on it over games like Fallout 4 and in the future, Just Cause 3 and Far Cry Primal. I'll probably get it when the price drops a bit.

Anyone played metal gear solid V? Any good? Reviews suggest it's amazing

One of the best games I've ever played.

Great story and graphics. You'll get sucked into the game world within minutes and it's filled with nearly 50 hours of story content.

Have you played MGSV: Ground Zeroes before? You might want to play that first before venturing into Phantom Pain.

Did you spill some vodka over your keyboard recently haha?

I didn't really look into each game. But a brief scan tells me that you enjoy playing indie games (so do I).

Here's what I think of some of your choices.

Niko is a really good game. Cheap, looks good and fun to play. It's something that you can venture into when you have like say half an hour of leisure time.

I think you know my stand about Phantom Pain.

Block N Load is free now and it's a good game to have. But be prepared to play with a cesspool of lone wolves who doesn't care about teamwork. There are some server issues as well.

The Flame in the Flood is still in early access, you may want to wait for the finished product. Thought the story was a little dry and the gameplay got a little repetitive over time.

I like horror games so games like SOMA and Kholat were a fun experience. They're like Amnesia and Slender Man with better gameplay and environment of course.

Have you played Limbo before? FEIST is almost similar to that. Not as good though but it's still decent.

Mad Max is pretty good. It has its flaws but I had quite a lot of fun playing it (not done yet). Think of it as a mix between Fallout and Need for Speed.

I didn't play the rest. My apologies for not being able to give you my take on them.

Oh, and when are you planning to buy them? During the Winter sale, I suppose?
