The only performing player in our team right now, don't want imagine what will happen if he catches a cold. He looks like the loyal type, stayed with Valencia when they were playing Europa league. I don't think he will generate a move away from us if we ended up finishing outside the 4.

Brilliant in every way imaginable! Guy is studying English and going for his post grad degree (not sure what you all call that in the mother country) while playing for Chelsea. A difficult feat if the club is winning but downright impossible with this season! I think and hope he sees the writing on the wall and he is one who backs AVB. He seems loyal and its a shame he can't see the Bridge when its all lit up! He's going no where, sign another creative winger (whether that be Hazard or not) and put Danny up top and this guy will deliver us trophies like the through ball we all know he is capable of! Splendid signing and we all know Roman does not like looking wrong so I expect a major signing or two this summer! Our future is bright lads!

He needs to be partnered with someone like robben. Those two would just take defenses apart.

Great player, wish we'd more like him.

As an attacking player, he has rare talent.

As an all-around player, Napoli was the first time I've seen him work hard to win the ball. He was actually serious about it. That was good to see and I hope he keeps it up.

Bosingwa and Mata on the same flank is a Matt Jarvis hat trick waiting to happen.

This guy is an absolute legend (in the making) and we are so lucky to have him.

Like others here I just hope he doesnt grow frustrated with life at Chelsea. In a year or two, Madrid, Barca, and all the rest are going to come after him if he wants to leave London.

If anything, his success here should show Roman and the board what established creative players can do for this side. They need to give up with this feast or famine mentality on transfers. We dont need to focus exclusively on youngsters who are still on the way and/or established mega talents who cost a boatload. Those kind of purchases (Mata, Ramires, Bran) have been excellent here, whereas the mega buys like Torres and Luiz have fallen flat.

De Bryune is, imo, a step in the right direction. May not be ready yet, but for the amount of money paid may wind up being a steal.

He is just great, so young yet so skillful, we need 2-3 more players like him at KEY postions (CM for example) and we will be up there chalenging everything with a real chance of winning.

I feel bad for Mata sometimes when hes running his arse off and look at his face wondering if hes thinking what is going on with his team, you definetely cannot question his commitment to this team

Wrong. He still has the same old attitude, and I'm pretty sure that the years have taken their toll on his legs too.

What we need is a young Robben or Duffer. I would probably choose the second because we need at least one winger who hugs the line and wipes in one pinpoint cross after another. Drogba would love that, and I bet Lukaku would too. We have to accept that we have powerhouse strikers and build the team arond that to see the goals coming, or fork out another 50m on a superstriker, but with the FFP coming that just might not be an option anymore.
