Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller confirms Chelsea's interest in an interview to Sport Bild. Can he play a central midfielder? If he could, would you welcome here?

All will depends on how Germany fair in the Euro's he is for sure to start most games for them they do well he shines like in the world cup Bayern will come out and say he's staying improve his contract and end of that story. On the other hand he feature much in the euro's Germany do poor and then he will ask to leave as Bayern will prefer Kroos behind Gomez next term.

Either way this story will probably gather speed from now will end of euros.

p.s Hulk > Muller

The problem with Muller is that he is very clumsy. The good thing about him is that he is popping up in the box like the good old Lampard and is very hard working. I'd rather have Muller than Hulk to be honest, given that Muller is priced at 15-20 million and Hulk is priced at 38 million.

I like how he gets excited when scoring a goal for Bayern Munich in the Champion's League final, and goes on to lose that corresponding final to Chelsea.

It's a newspaper kind of, and I doubt they share the news on their site, you can see the Müller out? on this picture here: http://sportbild.bil...,height=349.jpg

Yeah, I'm familiar with the paper itself, it's just when I did a quick google I didn't find it on their site.

Cheers anyway. I'd love Muller tbh - we all saw how good he was at the WC and the season after the WC and this season, he's still been putting up good stats (less goals this season but that's largely down to less playing time centrally)

If I had to pick, i'd go with Hulkamania. That left foot from the right side is irresistible. Muller is nice, but I'd prefer Hulk and an out and out striker sub for Nando.

This is exactly what I have always thought about him, clumsy but is in the right place at the right time.

I'm not sure I'd rather have him than Hulk, but if he's less than half the price as you say then he's definitely the better value option. It's a tough decision, but it's good that we're looking at other options if Porto are trying to move the goalposts price wise.

We dont really need him IMO, where would he play when Mata and Hazard play in his position..

On the wing where he has performed extraordinary for the second best National team in the world?

If you can't beat em, join em..

Think this could just be Chelsea playing hard-ball with porto. Showing they have other options, and won't pay over the top for Hulk.

Werent we linked with him before, cant remember if it was last summer or the january before.

I like him. He's one of those players who might not be great at anything special, but he works hard and somehow ends up where the ball is.

If we don't get Hulk I could see him playing with Torres and Hazard up front.

But if we get Hulk I really don't see why we would need him. Too many players in one position.

I would certainly love to have Muller at Chelsea, but (correct me if I am wrong) isnt he one of Bayern's golden boys like Schweinsteiger and Lahm? I cant see them selling him easily, especially since this Bayern team is going to be competitive for years.

That is awesome.

Decent player when surrounded with quality around him, works hard for the team and all that but really we can do much better (although the price mentioned is pretty good value for money). I can see why there might be interest in him but it's a big no from me.

I rate him very highly. Would be a great signing. I see him as an intelligent box-to-box goal-scoring midfielder with a great engine. (Remind you of anyone?)

I really rate Muller but there does not seem the room for him unless the deal for Hulk falls through. If we sign Hulk then he would be back up to the front 4 we are expecting to see next season, and he has said his reason for possibly leaving Bayern is more first team football, not to be back up for us.
