Always a stench of bullsh*t in the air when "Harry Harris" is involved.

But in all seriousness, I would much rather Lewandowski lead our line than Torres.

Yea Harry Harris is as reliable as a broken condem i just thought this would spark an interesting conversation in terms of what the plans are for loaning lukaku/selling sturridge potentially if these rumors by some mircale turn out to be true. (which almost guaranteed isn't the case, and i wanna keep sturridge for the record)

Imo..

Lukaku is going out on loan, and another striker will be brought in. Didn't Giroud say we had an interest in him?

Very good player IMO. More clinical finisher than Torres.

Notice how many of those are set up by Man Utd's new signing Kagawa.

Starting to sound like this might actually have some legs, proper sources now saying that we had a bid of £13mil rejected.

No matter what happens, Harris deserves no credit whatsoever.. he's more likely to have guessed than actually have known.

Never heard about this player, anyone got any info on him?

Mate - All i know, and i believe this is a verified fact, is that he is not as good as Victor Moses.

Top player. If he's available for around 15-18m we'd be foolish to turn him down.

Not sure about this. Look at our CF options. Playing 2nd or 3rd fiddle is okay for a player like Lukaku, behind Torres but for Lewandowski who is already on a good level. I really like us to hold on Sturridge for number of reasons. This coup would mean Sturridge out or playing on the right side that he doesn't prefer. It would certainly mean Lukaku out on loan and in the future possibly sold.

I don't think there are many strikers in the world who would come here simply because of Torres.

Dortmund has come out saying we have to double our initial offer if we wan't him.

Well this would signal the end of Lukaku for another season, and possibly push Sturridge out the door in search of more opportunities.

Would he be the preferred choice to Torres though up front?

Lewan is a good option for the 2nd striker role. seriously i don't see us placing all our eggs in sturridge's basket as a second striker. he will be a serious option from the bench. and can even start games. sturridge can be our third striker and lukaku should be catching the next plane to fulham

haha, next plane to fullham. Like it.

Lewandowski is a pretty clinical finisher, but he's lacking in other areas and I don't like the transfer fee estimations that I've heard. He isn't Poland's best player nor is he Dortmund's best player. That alone should give us reservations.

I don't think we need a CF

Just stick with nando and phase lukaku and studge in around him

So let Lukaku rot in the reserves, just in case we need him, and also put all our eggs in one basket with nando. What happens if Torres or Studge get injured? Your going to ask Lukaku to lead the line? At the busy end of the season? Can't be done, we're short up front when we are compared to other teams. Keep Torres as the main man, but we need a plan b..
