There's full blown idiots in this world, and then there's this man.

The lad who made the first comment is worthy of a second place aswell.

Also love the site's motto: "Create your own history"

Well clearly they all have to since Liverpool won't be creating it any time soon, unless it's relegation...

William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly told Crunchsports.com: "The football has gone largely unnoticed while the Olympics has been going on although there has been a steady stream of bets on Liverpool winning the title, mainly from the North West.

"There has not been that much movement in or out of Anfield this summer but despite this, Liverpool now constitute around 40% of all stakes that we have taken on the Premier League winner market."

TBH I'm not much of a gambler anyway & I rarely bet on Chelsea as I know it would be an emotional bet and not a sensible one, however, not for one second would I back us to win the league next year, we're a work in progress, not the finished article, and we're way better than the dippers!!!

I would assume he's probably very rich and can afford such a bet. If he's not and he's sunk all his money into that, then he's a total idiot who deserves to lose all his money, and has.

Don't matter how rich you are, no point just throwing money away, if he wants to do that, he can throw some my way!

Which league?!

The EPL?

He probably should have put money on Liverpool winning the fair play league. That's one they actually had a realistic chance of winning. Oh wait, Suarez... :happy001:

I believe someone told the lad we are going back to a barter system, and he was using the bookies as a way to dispose of his money, because his rubbish bin was full.
