Oscar and hazard dropped their form around Feb. Since then we've been pretty toothless apart from open teams like arsenal. Hate to keep coming back to mata but we've definitely missed him in certain games

Maybe having mata in the squad releived some of the mental pressure, he was the most senior out the 3.

Maybe he's injured and maybe he's fatigued but generally he doesn't create enough for me for a #10 and it sometimes gets glossed over because he works so damn hard...... Building a team around him might have been a bit ambitious but he is clearly talented and we need to find a place for him....

Yep. He doesn't need to create 100 chances. He needs to help the team dominate the game first and foremost and then create a few. And he was fine in that regard at the start of the season. If we were to play the CL final against Madrid, I still believe that we would have more of a fighting chance with Oscar rather than Mata.

He is clearly nursing an injury. In the jose interview before the game he said that he couldn't afford to start hazard, oscar and eto together. He had to choose one and he chose hazard. 

 

Oscar really needx to hit the ground running next season. Hopefully he has a good world cup and comes back confident.

Many people are dscussing how average he has been for months, I don't think he's been nursing an injury that long.

He's went completely off the boil since around January.

Jose said in February when he had to go aff at half time against Everton that Oscar had been carrying a knock for weeks.

We have Schurrle, Willain, Hazard, Salah and plenty returning from loan if Oscar is to be given a break.

Tbh, that's fine by me. We have a small chance anyway of winning the title, and I would be absolutely gutted for him if he couldn't make a home world cup.

Agree completely but taking into account he's one of Brazil key players I can't see him being rested on the bench. He's more likely to start every game on the way to the final.

Coutinho and Willian have been better this season. I havent been watching Moura that much but against us he seemed like he can contribute more than Oscar.

I dont think Coutinho will be be going and Willian i heard has been keeping Moura out of the last few Brazil matches. I agree with you that Willian and Coutinho have had better seasons.

Their manager and fans disagree with you. He's vital to their system, whether or not he's better than Neymar, etc is another matter. 

When i've watched Brazil he's their best player. Perhaps its because he isn't expected to do as much running or defending so he can focus solely on attacking.

He's certainly not Brazils best player and I've not heard anyone involved with the brasilian team say he is.

I doubt they would pick a bang out of form player if he's holding them back which if he performs like he has for us lately he most certainly will.
