Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend

Featured Replies

Feel sorry for Hazard. Could see last night he wants to play good football but the wig-wearer has assembled a team of target men strikers. All we could do was smash crosses into a packed box and hope for the best. Hopefully Sarri can come in and play some gorgeous link up play to break down these kind of games.

Do you guys consider the guy a club legend yet or not? Would really like to hear your opinions

If he isn't already, then he is very very close.

He's given so much joy and many magical moments over the last 6 years which is a significant time in football so yes.

All done without drama and he loves the club. It would be sad to see him go but I feel like he has enough a connection with the club that there's a higher chance of him staying.

Another player with his status and ability I would have no doubt would leave if we failed to stay in the CL and another club wanted him.

Absolutely, he's contributed immensely to a lot of silverware since he came here.

What a great character he is, went towards Willian and gave him the trophy with a smile and celebrated with him.

He is so positive to the dressing room, I will be so disappointed if we will leave us in the summer. I haven't even started talking about how important he is for us when we play football.

Most talented player we’ve ever had. I’ll be heartbroken if he leaves us, but also immensely grateful for the wonderful performances he’s graced us with over the years. I just hope the club are pulling out all the stops to persuade him to stay, and to build up the team in a way that really gets the most out of him, instead of us having to rely on his talent to carry us.

More talented than Zola? I can’t agree with your statement.

Imo they are probably on par or not much in it at least, but we always remember Zola with more high regard because we were not used to seeing such a high quality player back then. Plus Zola came to us for his career end, whilst Hazard we have had from a youngish age up to his prime, so that makes it a bit more difficult to compare.

Zola had his best season with us in his final season. Although he came at age 30 he was still very very good for us. Personally I still think he’s the most talented player wevin ever had.

I agree, just about. I saw his first game for us up at Blackburn, i went just because i wanted to see him.

He’s the reason I really got into football. Before him I did support Chelsea but I was more just a passive fan, it wasn’t until I saw him play for us that I truly was hooked.

And to the top four finish this season. Oh hang on.

Yeah your right we never had disapponting seasons when Zola, drogba, lampard, Terry, Dixon, Osgood, etc were at the the club.

No we didn’t. So hazard has achieved more than Drogba Terry and Lampard? Dixon played in a completely different era and Zola was always a joy to watch.

Nobody is saying he achieved more than Terry, Drogba and Lampard. What is a fact though is that Hazard hasn't had a chance to play with anywhere near the same quality of players as those 3.

Get back to your PlayStation. Mug.

cry a bit more if you want. Saying we didn't have disappointing seasons with Drogs, Terry, Lamps etc. is embarrassing. Hazard is a club legend.
