Was thinking the same thing.  He is only saying he would be ok with a move to RM, but he won’t force it, it’s up to the club.  I’m not worried yet.

The first part certainly does look like a come and get me plea, to a degree...

The second part, business as usual.

To me he seems fairly open minded and doesn't mind staying or going, no matter what happens he will be getting a pay rise very, very shortly.

Wouldn't be an issue if it was any other club, but Real Madrid almost always get their man, especially if he makes it clear that's where he wants to go. Pretty sure it means he wants to go there but he won't be unprofessional if Chelsea say 'no', because he is a good person and also because doesn't want to burn bridges at this stage. Horrendous news for the club.

Never flirted with a move or a new adventure. 

Hardly surprising if he wants to leave. We've failed to qualify for the CL too often recently and played some very negative football at times.

I think he'll stay with agreement he gets an easy move next summer. 

It might get the alarms bells going, kick the board into life and get some extra signings if nothing else.

If this does happen, I think a good way to spend the money would be to get Martial and Bailey.  As it’s been stated before, there isn’t anyone available that would immediately replace Hazard, so getting a player (Martial) who has proven he can play well in the EPL and another player (Bailey) who is young and very promising, is the best we could hope for.

But he's not signing a new contract clearly and thats the sad/important part here.

Because if he don't we are almost forced to sell him this summer to get top money for a top player. If we sold him with a year left next summer we'd get pennies compared to what we need to get for a player like Eden.

At least I'm sure that if he leaves it will be in great terms.

No amount of money is going to suffice.  Honestly we cannot go buy Neymar/Mbappe so what's the point of letting him go? 

220m or Asensio/Isco + 100m.

Pretty sure he has 3 years left on his deal, I could be mistaken though.  So we would still have a large amount of leverage next summer.

No not forced but to get his value when selling him we'd have too.

No one sells a player with 2 years left, why would we? 

Time for Marina to earn her corn.

If Madrid end up signing Neymar or Mbappe they won't be able to afford him anyway. Let's hope they go for one of those two first.

Depends what's on the table I guess. If Madrid offer us silly money along with a top player...we'll bite now rather than wait a year for maybe a lesser offer. 

Those comments seem like a come a get me plea to madrid without burning his bridges here at the same time. 

If madrid do come in for him we have a few options. 

1. Tell madrid to f**k off. It could cost us financially in the long run if hazard can't be convinced to sign a new deal further down the line. 

2. Agree to sell to madrid as long as we receive isco or bale in return plus a significant fee. 

3. Get the best price we can for him, then sign 2 or 3 players in the hope it improves us overall. 

My heart is saying option 1, but my head is saying option 2 especially if we can use the money from hazard and willian to go after another top attacker like dybala or dembele. 

The trouble for me is convincing a bale, isco, or dybala to come here. It will be difficult but not impossible since money talks loudest in football. 

Option 3 would be the worst outcome for me.
