I guess somebody can only carry the attacking threat of the team on their own for so long... something has to give. I thought Hazard looked good last night but we need others to do their share.

Great player going through a tough time,it happens.

Pity about the penalty cause he played really well in the number ten role with Oscar out left, might be the secret to getting the best out of him.

Is this the photo you mean? It might even be before the shoot-out but it's unfair to say JT is giving him daggers, he's probably just glancing in their direction.

I don't even think Hazard's penalty was that bad, no worse than the others. The only difference was that Butland guessed the right direction. If Butland goes left for Willian and Oscar's penalty, he easily saves them.

Didnt see the whole game but from people I spoke to, and reports, its sounds like he had a good game. Highlights show him weaving in an out of players like hazard of Old. 

Cant say for sure as didnt watch all 90mins but dont be down on a player for missing a penalty, especially if aside from the result, he played well.

He seemed to move into the center behind the striker, i thought it suited him better to be honest. He was taking on players and skipping by them with ease at times. Maybe he has been found out on the LW. I have always thought that he could be even more dangerous playing behind the striker rather than on the wing.

Definitely more dangerous and more involved form the center.

 

Think the downside is as soon as the opposition have the ball, you're required to do a lot of work defensively on the sitting midfielder.

Sometimes you save your best penalty taker till 4th or 5th because they're more likely to be taking a key penalty (see Drogba in Munich)

Sorry but no, penalties too are planned as sometimes don't work out. You can have your best man play anytime during a shoot-out. Bet he'll still no1 choice during regulation time

Nah.

You should always have your best pen taker hitting the first pens because if you miss a few then he doesn’t even get a chance to take one.

His confidence is just below par, you can see it in the way he is playing.
