Some games, he's just outstanding, yet when I look on the MOTM thread, people say, "Ooh Luis played well", "T-Bo had a good game", "I was impressed with Cahill". Seriously guys, if you hadn't seen Hazard before, there is only one thought you would have after watching him for the first time. And that thought is .. "WOW !!!!!!"

Agree 100%, deserves to win player of the year this season. You could count his quiet games on 1 hand.
March 10, 201511 yr I don't think people are 'desensitised' with Hazard, we all appreciate his genius and ability in the games we see. Other players deserve praise too and as great as Hazard is other players shine too like Terry or Courtios who in their own right are having superb performances that are just as important in terms of winning a game as Hazard. I appreciate them all.
March 12, 201511 yr We are now in a very difficult position (although admittedly less so now we are out of the Champions League) where it is very clear that Hazard needs a rest, but we can't afford to drop him as he essentially carries our attack single-handedly and we can't afford to lose any ground in the league, which is the crowning focus of our season. We have shown that we can cope (just about) without Fabregas, Costa and Matic for a game or two at a time, but it is hard to imagine us getting far without Hazard, and the more we run him into the ground, the less effect he is going to be able to have later on.
March 12, 201511 yr It might sound crazy but I'd put him on the bench this weekend. 1) give him a rest. 2) say to oscar willian cuadrado - this is your shot in a huge game, whichever one of you steps up to the mark and wins us the game we be one of the key guys in the run in. Challenge these guys, they don't seem to care enough at the moment. Be interesting to see what they do when they can't just stand aside and watch hazard
March 12, 201511 yr Author Not sure why we need to rest hazard, he has just had a week between games, which will be the norm between now and the end of the season. I dont think he tired yesterday, he took a couple of bad challenges in the second half and he struggled to run them off.

March 13, 201511 yr Watching this video of Hazard agasint West Ham reminded of what a good little partnership and chemistry he had with Mata at times. Now he doesn't have that player to link up with who is on the same level as him.

If they pick Kane over Hazard it would be scandalous - in my eyes the only other genuine candidates are Sanchez, Silva and Aguero, and none of them have been as good or as consistent as Hazard. Obviously there are still two months to go and a lot can happen in that time, but in my opinion Hazard has been far and away the best player in the league this season, and is [currently] the key man for the league leaders. Surely no contest?

On the contrary, I'd imagine he's making millions! He played in Indonesia for a little while towards the end of his career so I assume he was raking it in there and presumably made a few contacts while he was at it.
March 20, 201511 yr I dunno why Jose hasn't tried it yet, but I think he should play Hazard as our #10. I think his creative talent is being somewhat limited in the left flank. If he plays more centrally he'll dictate the tempo more and we'll be able to unlock defenses more easily and he'll thrive there imo. Playing Oscar as #10 isn't working at all, he doesn't have the flair nor creativity to unlock the defenses, Hazard would do wonders in that position. I know Oscar played some good football at that position but he isn't consistent at all. And people says Willian is better of cutting from the left, lets see how it works. Because he's clearly useless at our RW. Like this Cuadrado-Hazard-Willian. And Cesc's best football came at Arsenal when he played their CAM. He used to score sh*t loads of goals despite giving same amount of assists. But here he's giving assists at the same rate but hardly is scoring any goals. Dunno why, maybe playing too deep that's why.
