I would certainly give it a go but the problem for a short arse like me is being able to see - if you're standing in seated area you're spaced out so your nose isn't pressed up against the bloke in front so you've got a chance of seeing.  But yeah, I'd like to stand on the terraces again!

Depends who I was there with. If I was there with another Chelsea fan or on my own then it sounds a lot of fun but if I was there with my girlfriend or my parents (when I was younger) then I'm pretty sure they would rather sit. As much as it takes away from the atmosphere, there's a family zone for a reason.

Would definitley stand. Brentford away last year was my first experience of terracing (with chelsea) - it was brilliant.

Unfortunately I wasn't around when Chelsea had terraces, I would have loved to have been stood there jumping around and singing my heart out, so if there was an option to stand then yes I would.

I'd try it - but I like to sit - a regret of mine is when my dad took me to my first Chelsea match when I was 7. He asked if I wanted to stand and I said "no thanks" as I didn't think it sounded fun to stand for 90 minutes, wish now I'd had the experience though I probably wouldn't have enjoyed it much as a 7 year old!

I want a nice comfortable seat and a good atmosphere and to be able to stand up without being told off when it's necessary (eg last 10 minutes of a cup game!!)

I'd sit, i'm a lazy bar steward.

But you said you never go to games anyway, what with all that nasty singing and jumping up when we score and all that sh*t.

Any road up, in answer to the question, I'm way too old to be standing all through a match, so it would be just like I am now, sitting down and jumping up all the time, standing up 'cos I hate tottnum and generally just doing what old blokes do.  Did my time on the terraces, though and wouldn't have missed it for the world.

United fan here so I'm taking this as a general stadium question, but without a doubt I'd stand. Terraces are way better than the stands for atmosphere anyway and if done properly it's much safer than the current situation with people standing between the seats.

if I had an option, it would be to stand in the shed end near a white wall, lf it rained really heavy, and the shed shelter was the size of a bus stop, I'd  pay a pound extra to sit on some nice comfy benches in the west stand...............now that would be my dream.

Oh good, we can sit (and jump up) together, Kev. We'll pretend we don't hear the creaking this time :-)

Would love to go back to standing but must admit getting a bit old for standing with the old pushing and shoving etc.

Controlled standing areas without crush etc would be better for me now.

With the atmosphere at the bridge being on the quite side sometimes you could probably here the creaking. Ha ha
