I can't wait to see Willian and Eto'o play for us. Everton has started badly and it is very probable they'll play without their biggest stars Fellaini and Baines. I think ManU will get them both.

Hope we see Mata start but I'm not gettig my hopes up...

I'm just glad we have no bad players left like last season such as Benayoun, Paolo Ferrera, Marko Marin, Moses was iffy. Replaced by De Bruyne, Schurrle, and Willian.

You are right we have depth in quality.

You can't be cocky going to Everton but they're having trouble at the moment.  They're actually not playing badly, they've just got a shocking lack of end product.  3 points here would be fantastic as they always give the top side a game.  Got a feeling they'll deprive United of a few this season and City hates going there.

I hope we press them all over the pitch, seems to be something they can't cope with just yet. If we can do that properly then I reckon we will get the 3 points.

By then they have sorted out Baines&Fellaini situation. That is really hurting them. If you believe the reports both of them have been a little off because they'd love to go to Utd. Once that is sorted they get peace to the squad. Martinez's position at the moment is far from easy..

What if they both leave ? i would rather play an Everton team without Baines and Fellaini than an Everton team with them.

Personally, I'd like to see either Eto or Lukaku leading the front line. Lamps rested too. And Mata definitely given some time on the pitch.

Exactly, heading up to Goodison is rarely a high scoring affair.  Also with Martinez as their manager, I am sure that they'll defend deep and it will be a turgid affair.

 

I'd happily take an early 1-0 and get out of there with the 3 points.

Basically, I'm saying that Lampard is going to start and score at least 8 goals.

I'm a bit nervous over this one, Everton have been known to cause us quite a bit of trouble in the last couple of years. I think we need to press them hard and fast and not invite the pressure. I don't see much changes to the team we had for the Super Cup, maybe Ramires and Oscar will be rotated.

As long as Lamps plays, we'll be fine.

So Chelsea are not even favorites to win this game at Everton according to betonline. I bet 50 on Chelsea to win. Risky bet I guess but our defense looks tight and we always score at Goodison.

Normally i'm very anxious about a trip to Goodison but I'm fairly confident about this one. They have no quality striking options (Lukaku can't play against us), they just sold Fellaini and they have Gareth Barry.

 

Hopefully Mata sees some game time, if he doesn't then the excuses have run out in my view.

 

Would also like to see Eto'o and Willian given a go.

Usually a really frightening fixture that has come later in the season in recent years . Definatley more confident about it this year than prior years . It helps that Evertons biggest threat wont be eligible to play against us as he is our player .

With such an embarassment of riches to choose from I'm hard pressed to pick a team. I would probably go with the JT-Cahill central pairing, give Luiz a run in place of Lamps, start Mata and see what Eto'o has to offer. Wouldn't mind Dave getting a game right back either.

Willian will definitely feature at Goodison, whether starting or coming off the bench. Eto'o will probably start, given his statement that he is anxious to begin playing immediately. Eto'o is kinda high-maintenance so I'm glad Mourinho knows how to handle him.
