Matic has been awful for months, luckily for him it has been the same period as Costa so he has got away with it to a certain extent.

Fabregas plays a couple of games then we don't see him again. His got to be pissed off. I thought Matic plays because his good defensively? His hardly good at that and doesn't create anything going forward.

Think people overrate him and wanyama. Good players but when they're up against an equally determined midfield they aren't special. 

Wish matic would shoot more. He has a great left foot when he uses it. Problem with him is he doesn't provide enough offensive work in midfield alongside kante.

That would be easy because one goal doesn't suddenly make him look like a creative genius. Most of his shooting has been awful and he isn't great offensively. His meant to play to make Chelsea better defensively but I struggle to see that most of the time.

    Disagree. Dembele is the best midfield player in the EPL and has been for sometime. Better than Kante IMO because he gives them a lot more creatively. Rarely loses the ball and is technically excellent. Him and Alli are their two best players.

    Matic scored the goal of his life yesterday and what a game to do it in. But overall he is an extremely limited footballer and hasn't got an ounce of creativity or fantasy in him. We definitely need an upgrade for next season.

    Apart from the height difference Fabregas would of been alot better. Chelsea played alot of long hopefully balls at some points in the game. Fabregas can play 1 touch passes, he can dictate how he plays to the situation he is in. Short or long if needed, can be pressured. Set pieces and creativity play.

    With Matic it felt like 10 men all game then he suddenly ran of the bench to put one in the top corner. Then went back to the bench. Something that bothers me is Matic never seems to close down a cross, his like Mikel and doesn't have a fast run button.

    Kante was a beast next to him, I literally don't know how he does it. He was everywhere.

    I really hope the love of Matic doesn't mean Fabregas leaving.

    Me too ::ChELSeAFaN:: Being young in those days was painful specially when 95% of kids supported mainly Utd in the area I lived in the south of England. 

    Remember Poyet's goals vs Newcastle in 2010? Both very nice finishes.

    the guy is so underrated, i hardly ever hear pundits rave about him like they do Kante.

    At first I wasn't a big fan. I thought he held onto the ball alot and looked alot like Matic does now tbh. I really think he has gone on to be a great midfielder. Him and Kante together would be brilliant.

    One thing that gets me about Dembele is the amount of fouls he gets away with. I have never seen a midfielder push players out the way so much and get away with it. That Willian one was blatant.
