Easy Willian

Rarely vote in MOTM but only Willian filled me with pleasure. A great performance of skill and work rate and he definitely deserved an assist. His disappointment at the end said a lot, while others were smiley smiley leaving the pitch.

He didn't deserve to be on the losing side.

Willian, probably would have been Dave if he hadn't gotten injured.

Eto'o and Ba showing exactly what our problem is. sh*t strikers.

 

If Eto'o scores that sitter he had, it's 2-0 nill, we kill the game and we're through.

 

Essien was also particularly awful.

 

Edit: voted azpilicueta. Fantastic cross for our goal and we were in no trouble whatsoever when he was on.

Azpi for me. Wilian a very close second.

Willian, rarely give the ball away, made a couple of nice Dummies (no not Ba and Eto'o) ran his legs off and though still little end product does most things right.

 

as Dave said above would likely have given my vote to Azpilicuta if he'd have been on longer.

Willian work rate is just fantastic,very rarely looses the ball.My only gripe with him is sometimes hes a bit too safe but he is getting better every game for me.I would think he would start against Arsenal. 

Azpi for me, he showed good desire to get forward and defended well when required. Willian showed tremendous work rate , if he could develop a cutting edge to match this he could be a good acquisition.

Dave for me, even if he left injured he still did more than anyone else. Willian ran a lot but it wasn't until ET that he actually did anything in the final third.

willian for me.didnt stop running and when he gets the ball he generally makes a bee line towards the oppositions goal,unlike most of his teamates who prefer to pass sideways and backwards

Azpilicueta again fom me, defended when he needed to, got forward well when he needed to and got an assist. I hope his injury doesn't keep him out of games.

Willian followed very closely by Dave.Doughnut of the match well either Etoo for doing a 'Torres' better than Torres or Mikel the Imposter.

Willian was superb and getting better all the time.

Dave for me, he was excellent up until he went off injured.

Starting to see Willian shine now. While he still needs to work on his killer move, his work rate is excellent. 

 

Azpi again, our most consistent player. The guy needs to play right back week in, week out. Give Ivan a chance at CB with JT.
