amusing report in a French newspaper saying hazard has apparently told an unnamed player he will join psg in the summer...in the same article it laughably claims hazard's value has gone from 40m euros we paid to just 50-60m...then concedes that it is not known what Chelsea's view on the matter is...I think we can take a fairly good guess! 

 

Could just be hazard's camp stirring it up to get a payrise

I came across that article a few days ago.  It went on to say that they'd try for Oscar if we refused to sell Hazard.  It's so ridiculous our tabloids won't even touch it.  If something is too stupid for the Mail, you know you've failed.

I read that Jose is keen for him to get a new contract, maybe his agent is trying to get Eden a better deal.

If there is any truth in it, why would Hazard join there? He is in the biggest league in the world at one of the biggest clubs with the best manager in the world. He is being played week in week out. He is winning cups. I cant see why he would want to go to PSG. The only reason i could think of is if he was "home sick" and missed living in France.

I've seen a bit about this today, apparently PSG is his boyhood team. Not sure how much truth there is in that though.

This is the only real 'evidence', they allege that Hazard told one of his teammates "I will certainly join Paris next summer", but apparently also allege that it was said matter-of-factly, without excitement or bitterness.

Not even a bit of me thinks this will happen.

So he's still got 3 years to run on it come the end of the season, consider we wouldn't want to sell arguably our best player PSG would have to offer something around £80m+ for him based on what Gareth Bale went for. 

 

Maybe Eden would like to go, who knows but Chelsea are very much in control with this one.

What cracked me up the most was when this "expert journalist" said Hazard had a "difficult first season" with us. No doubt, he's basing this on the ballboy incident. Laughable stuff. He was awesome in his first season.

If PSG did want Hazard, and if Hazard wanted to go, then PSG would have to pay big for it.

 

Hazard has the potential to become one of the top 2-3 players in the world. Bale went for a world record fee and he will never get to a top 2-3 player level.

 

Factor in Chelsea s reluctance to sell and Hazard having 3 years left on his contract then you would be looking at an absolutely astronomical fee.

 

I definitely wouldn't want to sell him but the money received for him would let us strengthen our squad massively and make us stronger overall i guess.

 

Like Spurs did this year. Ho hum.
