Pirlo was awful in big games last season. Terrible against high pressing teams as he wanted too much time on the ball and was rightfully criticised. Anyone who actually watched Juventus will know that Pogba, Vidal and Marchisio were the best 3. Marchisio is one of the most underrated players I think I've ever seen. Never ever gets the plaudits because of his surroundings.

Pogba is a sensational talent and to learn from the players he's had around him gives him huge experience at a young age. To think otherwise is beyond lunacy.

A player is worth what a team is willing to pay for him and the question a team needs to ask themselves is will the player fit into our system.

 

We are looking to bring in Pogba to sit next to Matic, I personally believe he will do a better job than Fabregas who will move to compete with Oscar for the No.10 role. I think Pogba will give us more of a goal threat from deep then Fab and also a more physical presence. 

 

Is he worth the money at 60m+, I think he takes us to the next level as a team and will be worth every penny especially taking into account his resale value

I worded that incorrectly. I really rate Pirlo, as I mentioned that Pogba learned a lot from him.

When I mentioned high pressing teams in big games I meant the likes of Barcelona. He was caught dwelling on the ball constantly in the champions league. Italy is a slower pace and more suited to his style.

Always wonder why we didn't go for Vidal, would have been perfect for the position we want Pogba in and would have been cheaper. Better defensively but can't doubt Pogba has the potential to be better than Vidal has ever been (could even be now). Pogba is one of those transfers that really get's you properly excited if it could go through. Would have been exciting to sign Vidal but not Pogba level excitement.

He didnt throw anything out the pram. Surely theres a middle ground between starting every month and only playing in two Carling cup ganes over a 4 month period.

Some kiddy from that Chelsea fans YouTube channel said something similar yesterday and that it came from someone in the Beckham camp, I'm still waiting to see if this hits the guardian/bbc/sky otherwise the words 'beating a dead horse' come to mind!
