Eden has missed 1 (maybe 2 penalties) in his whole professional career. Eden is our pen taker , no question.

I hope all of that comes true. A team with Courtois, Luis, Lukaku, Fabregas, and Costa would be very exciting.

cesc joining us means selling mata is a mistake

how is cesc better than mata, even he does, mata is way cheaper in wage than cesc

not to mention cesc is from Arsenal AND Barca

Mata was sold because Mata wanted to leave, Mourinho let him go because I don't think he stands in the way of players who don't want to be part of Chelsea. If Fabregas joins us it's because he wants to be part of Chelsea, and although he may have a similar skill set to Mata he can be used deeper which is where he will partner Matic.

 

I think both will join us, and both will help us massively next season with goals and assists.

I don't get the Mata comparison. Cesc plays in the middle of the park whereas Mata plays the number 10 role.

 

Some people really haven't got over him!!

I think people get confused because Cesc plays further up for Barca but at Arsenal he played deeper and more of a CM than an number 10.

If we sign him i fully expect him to play next to Matic and only be used as an AM if we get injures in that department.

We all loved Mata but he is gone. He couldnt or wouldnt adapt to the way Jose wanted so he was moved on.
