Diego Costa to Chelsea

Featured Replies

Yes he's a hothead but leaving the incident aside, you have to remember that he's still 26. He's not young but he's still learning and he was a late bloomer a lot like Didier. The Didier of 2005-2008 wasn't the same Didier that we had after that period. I don't think he'll lose that fire but he might learn to control it a bit better. This is part of the learning process.

The entire thing has been fasttracked. He has just 24 hours to respond.

How big of a joke is that? They don't want us to win the league simple as.

If all the incidents were fast tracked I'd have no problem with it but FA as usual shows no consitency. Absolute disgrace!

If we win Premier League this season it will be much more than just winning it. It's been a clear campaign against us almost untill now. Every time we didn't get clear penalties, our players get harshly booked for divings and now they're banning Costa just before City's match. Although I agree he did stamp him but so did Aguero to David Luiz he didn't got anything. FA are a f**king disgrace. Bunch of twats.

Charges and the time to appeal usually take longer than 48 hours, why am i not surprised that this one is getting rushed ?

Funny how they didn't drag their feet with this one? Literally took them less than 24 hours to charge him and giving a tight deadline to appeal which is tomorrow at 6PM.

So even if we appeal there is plenty of time to finalise it before Saturday.

He will 1000000% get a 3 game ban at least. I'm praying that it's not any more. That means he misses.

City at home

Villa away

Everton at home

Time to step up again Hazard. Plz turn into messi for these next 3.

Surely you can't make a decision on a suspension the day of a Match? Preparations are well under way by then

Fairly certain he'll play on Sat.

People are turning into conspiracists! The FA are renowned for being complete sh*te when it comes it charging players and often make it up as they go along. However, Costa deserves a good chunk of criticism for the stamp he's being charged for as it was a definite red. Hope this makes him tone it down in future.

I like your optimism but nah, we aren't that lucky

I think Jose already expected him to be banned, but the way they fast tracked this means that they can get a conclusion as early as Friday even with the appeal, without the appeal he'll be charged tomorrow.

if costa appeals (obviously he will lose) will it enable him to play vs city? if so, it's probably worth appealing eve if it adds an extra game to the ban

In other news, its nice to see the FA have drastically sped up their disciplinary procedure. Presumably all other incidents will also be dealt with within 24 hours from now on?

FA are a bunch of match fixing retards. I just can't get the image of Aguero kicking the sh*t out of Luiz out of my head.

The inconsistancy they portray is out of this world. Pisses me off so much.

I vote for a complete overhaul.

Wasn't suprised Oliver never saw it, just like he "never saw" Hendersons deliberate handball and "never saw" the pen. Biggest bunch of c**ts on the planet. And those of you saying he deserves it are on another planet. There is a massive difference in stamping on someone and treading on someone whether intent or no intent
