My city mate just texted me to say they should take toures cake off him after the way he just wandered about in that. Was he that bad?

He was woeful but then so was Navas, Caballero, Kolarov, Boyata, Nastasic, Dzeko etc, Only players who played well were Fernando, Jovetic and Clichy. It was clear as hell that Arsenal wanted it more today, I think they wanted to prove a point that they can compete against a team in the top 3 and also with their CL qualifiers against Besiktas coming up they had more of an urgency about their game.

Lol

An Arsenal mate of mine just text me this 'Two trophies within 6 months, Not bad for a specialist in failure', They're going to really milk this aren't they.

Like a dairy farmer with the only cow on planet earth

What do you think about Nastasic in the long term? Do you think he can become City quality?

I remember in his first season at City, he looked class. I think, it was the match against Real Madrid when everyone was like "wow"?

His character seems very flakey to me, If he makes a mistake, He lets it chew him up, Unlike Kompany or Demechelis who have short term memories. He isn't great on the ball, Him and Lescott were woeful building up from the back when they would start together, If he was English i would tolerate what we have right now from him and hope he gets better and learns playing with Kompany, Demechelis and Managla, But he isn't so any hope of investing in him for the future seems risky when you could get £12 million or so for him from a Juventus or Dortmund type of club.

City couldn't be arsed and were missing a substantial number of first choice players.  Problem is, their issues with getting motivated is their main weakness.  Early last season they conceded a lot of points to much weaker sides and blew their relatively easy start.  They should have run away with it early on and that almost cost them in the end.  I don't think they'll get away with such complacency this year.

Hopefully Arsenal get giddy so Wenger doesn't address their problems for the rest of the window.

What happened to Rangers? Just saw they lost 2-1.

They ducked it up basically...hearts barely had a shot on goal then scored from a. Set piece...rangers pushed for equaliser and got in injury time only to switch off at kick off and concede straight away

The guy could have at least covered it by wearing jeans or trousers, but instead he wears shorts. You would think some of these people were born yesterday with the lack of sense they have.

That's either photo shopped or it's another one of our 'I'll do this if that happens' brigade, City fans love a tattoo bet, I reckon when we got beat by Liverpool 3-2 and drew with Sunderland 2-2, This idiot must have said 'We're finished, done, We cant win the league now, If we win it i'll get a Liverpool badge tatted on my body' and the rest is history. I remember a few years back in 2009 there was a guy who got 'City Champions League winners 2010/11' tatted on his arm, Only for Tottenham to pip us to fourth that year. We've got some right twats as fans i swear, They love a tattoo bet also, I mean what's wrong with a simple wager or a i'll get naked in public bet?

A tattoo bet ! i'm glad i'm old. There is a story it might be an urban myth.In Argentina a Boca junior's fan went to get a tattoo of the club badge covering virtually his whole back. Unfortunately for him the tattooist was a River Plate fan (massive rivals) who proceeded to tattoo a massive cock and balls on his back.

Nah I was there and that's now how it went.

We didn't have a shot on target till the second bloody half, Hearts deserved it and we were shocking

I thought Fernando was one of the worst players on the field, at one stage he just resorted to literally running around trying to push people over.

Not at all concerned about him being the back up to Yaya and Fernandinho.

City have confirmed the signing of Mangala now.

I've never seen him play, but if you have, what do you think of him? Do you think he's a good signing for them?

I've heard good things but haven't seen much of him.  Presumably he's been bought as first choice next to Kompany.

Remodez might know more!

We haven't been so active in the market compared to the other clubs, well us and Arsenal have probably been the least.

Do you think we will sign another player?

When watching the game yesterday through a Chelsea TV stream it was interesting to see what the pundits had to say and both of them agreed that the strike force isn't enough and that we will need another striker. Getting rid of Torres would be an absolute blessing but I haven't even heard one decent rumor of it so I can't see that happening at all. It might benefit us just signing a few players, the fewer the better at times, lets just hope luck goes our way and that Costa turns out to be brilliant and Drogba does a good duty and that we are injury free.

I think because we done our deals fairly early it comes across as we aint been too busy but we have brought in :

Cesc Fabregas

Diego Costa

Filip Luis

While also bringing in Zouma from loan and Courtois

So really there are 5 new players we have brought in with 4 of them ready made starters so that's a good amount really when you think about it.

I still hope there is one more deal on the go (striker).
