Lovely goal that, nice play by Sanogo.

I think Arsenal have got this one, they seem far more sharper than City.

They have the much better starting XI than City IMO, I'd be appalled if I was an Arsenal fan and didn't go onto win it now.

Both teams are only missing two players each from what would be their normal starting XI, City just haven't turned up. 

When is Arsenal's parade?

Very nice play by arsenal, I must confess. It will be interesting to see what happens once they start playing full strength sides though.

Sanchez has showed he's very fast, but apart from that he's been a bit sh*t and ruined quite a few counter attacks, including stuffing up that 1v1 with the goalkeeper.

 

Not quite the second coming of Maradona as Arse fans would have you believe.

Credit to Arsenal they are playing really well, This is exactly what i was asking for, A nice early season wake up call, Pellegrini needs to hop off the 4-2-2-2 formation bandwagon, Play 3 in cm for christ sake.

Kompany, zabaleta, silva, fernandinho and aguero are infinitely better than any of arsenal's missing players.

I forgot how much of an annoying sh*t Alexis is, always overreacting when he is touched.

 

I bet he will irritate a lot on here during the season.

God we will have to put up with Gooners now for the next week or so claiming that they will win the league ..blah. blah, blah...its only half time and City have got some of their best players missing while Arsenal probably have their expected first team...

Interesting half, although I think the scoreline was to be expected. Arsenal look at least two weeks more ready than City, who in all fairness are only fielding half a team. Any defence which can endeavour to make Sanogo look good is clearly not at 100%...

 

Sanchez looks like a brilliant signing though, with him, Özil, Cazorla and Ramsey all at the peak of their careers, Arsenal might be a complete nightmare going forward this season, let's hope they go as long as possible with two-and-a-half centre backs in the squad!

What I like about this result is if that Arsenal claim it as a legitimate/genuine trophy then our trophy count goes up too! Because they sure as hell didn't count at the time so we were told....
