Soo, United - Southampton today, predictions and hopes?

My hatred for United always prevails so I hope Southampton win.

Also Van Gaal is a bit of a horses back side but Koeman seems to be a genuinely nice guy. It would be nice to see Southampton in the top 4 with him as a manager.

I hope United win and keep a clean sheet. I'm neck and neck with someone in the cup on Fantasy Football, he has Bertrand starting, i have Jones starting. I need Jones to get the most points or i could be going out

Selfish yes, but I really find it hard to dislike him because I doubt there's a footballer in the world who has worked harder than him. Physically he's at the absolute pinnacle of physical perfection when it comes to being a footballer, he doesn't drink, he doesn't get caught in tabloid sh*t and he's right now then best player in the world through hard work. Reminds me of Michael Jordan.

Find me a top sportsperson who wasn't a selfish prick.

It's hard to warm to someone as egotistical as Ronaldo, no matter how much hard work he puts in.

Go an read about his philanthropic work, his family life or simply what type of bloke he is.

Yes he likes to look good and show off his body but he doesn't scrimp when it comes to being the best footballer he can possibly be. I sometimes wish Eden could be a bit more like him, a bit more of a prick. For me it's just killer instinct and you have to be a bit egotistical to put your hand up and say 'I've got this'.

285 goals in 274 games for Real Madrid is absolutely ridiculous.

You don't get to the level he has without having a good attitude.

Its worth noting how impresses Neil clement was with his attitude towards training.

Scezesny dropped for Arsenal. Some bloke called Ospina in goal, whoever the hell he is. Hopefully Stoke will score a few/.

Paul. Wasn't Neil Clement our left-back when we were amassing Barnards, Barnesses, Babayaros and BaaaLe Sauxs?

Think it's a bit like Beckham. Good looking and he knows it but you don't have technique like that without staying later than everyone else to work on it.

James Rodriguez brother in law................like it really matters

Ha ha, yeah bit of a freudian slip there. PAUL Clement said Ronaldo was the first on the training ground and last off, and once said to him how good it was that he was still learning every day. Reckons he`s one of the most professional players hes ever trained.

So Wenger has given 6 foot 1 keeper Ospina his debut today against Stoke.....Yep cant see that causing a problem at all.

Be interesting to see what happens with Paul Clement. Tremendous reputation now but might just be a top-class number two rather than future manager. Hasn't done Rui Faria any harm.

I find him a very overrated player, I think his goal record is one of the best ever, no doubt about it, but as a player I don't think he's the best in the world, his ability itself is not as good as some claim.

Fat Ronaldo was also a selfish prick, only really cared about himself rather than being a team player, but he was a much better player than Cristiano, he could just run through defences any time, he was untouchable. I don't think Ronaldo has ever hit that level of just walzing through players whenever he liked, there was a time when you couldn't tackle Messi, and I still believe Messi is the better player out of the two, but lets avoid the endless Messi and Ronaldo debates.

I agree with the Ronaldo attitude thing, I wish Hazard was a bit more egotistical, it kind of makes you the pro that you are, that's if it pays off, or you could end up like Nicolas Bentnar who still thinks he is the worlds number 1.

Like it!  :laugh2:

Halfway to history

QPR have some way to go to match Liverpool's record of 20 successive top-flight away defeats between 7 March 1953 and 16 January 1954.

Hasnt he been linked with the Newcastle job lately?

Stoke haven't even changed there game plan, they are just happy to lay down and die.

Wish teams would play like this against us.
