I read "Torres withdrawn after failing to impress on his homecoming," and had to smile because he has nothing to do with our club anymore. It's so great!

The Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has caused anger by posting a picture of the late Colombian drug baron Pablo Escobar on his Instagram page.

 

Rojo, an Argentinian, published the picture on Saturday with a quote from Escobar underneath.

 

“Only those who went hungry with me and stood by me when I went through a bad time at some point in life will eat at my table,” the quote read. The post sparked fury among some people on the social media website.

 

Based on the fact Balotelli got a one match ban recently for an "offensive" picture posted on social media you would assume Rojo's punishment would be the same.... But then that would assume the FA are capable of consistency.

I loved Townsend, Just simply for his orgasm over the Aguero hat trick against Bayern.

They've probably had to let Townsend go as, with him being at ITV, the channel is not meeting the legal 'Scouse pundit' level.

That said, ITV losing a big chunk of its football coverage is also a factor.
