RE: Messi - I just can't see how Messi would be financially viable from an FFP-perspective, unless we amortise the astronomical transfer fee over a 7 year contract or something silly. I'm personally of the opinion that Messi is approaching the tail end of his career and that it would be an enormous risk to sign him. I highly doubt there's anything in the rumour but would rather not even entertain the thought of it.

Coleman really isn't worth £20m though is he.... I would be very surprised to see United paying that much for him. 

 

I find the idea of spend obscene amounts of money on fullbacks a bit strange personally. Even in an era of attacking fullbacks surely they're one of the least valued positions in the team?

In all seriousness there is probably stuff in his contract about doing such things and since smoking most likely effects your performance they would try and punish you hard for it.
