February 26, 201511 yr Didn't Middlesbrough win the League Cup about ten years ago? I think it was that season when they had Hasselbaink, Mendieta, Parlour, etc... I seem to remember them beating Bolton in the final? I only remember because I was watching it abroad on Eurosport and I remember thinking 'they can't have been expecting the final to be Middlesbrough vs Bolton when they bought the rights to this'.

You are correct! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_Football_League_Cup_Final Amazingly according to that Wiki page, Zenden was man of the match?! EDIT: Actually looking back on the two teams that played that final there was some cracking players there, albeit past their peak. Ivan Campo, Jay-Jay Okocha, Youri Djorkaeff, Southgate, Mendieta, Juninho, Schwarzer. Even former Chelsea man Emerson Thome lined up for Bolton. Edited February 26, 201511 yr by ForeverCarefree
February 26, 201511 yr This has to be a wind-up. It's not an early April fool is it? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2970148/Sol-Campbell-lined-Conservative-MPs-Mayor-London-2016.html If he doesn't get it ( which he won't ) then expect the race card to get thrown about.
February 26, 201511 yr Good news! Newcastle United midfielder Jonas Gutierrez could make his first Premier League appearance on Saturday since overcoming testicular cancer. "Jonas Gutierrez is in the squad," Said United manager John Carver. "There's a possibility he could be on the bench and that's a massive lift for everyone." Congratulations to Jonas on his successful recovery.
February 26, 201511 yr This is one of the many, many reasons why Charlton fans are awesome: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31641876 I don't know if it's supposed to be obviously so but I'll say it anyway - FAKE!
February 26, 201511 yr I don't know if it's supposed to be obviously so but I'll say it anyway - FAKE! I didn't actually check out the video (it would feel a bit voyeuristic, plus it would definitely be NSFW) - is it unconvincing?

February 26, 201511 yr I didn't actually check out the video (it would feel a bit voyeuristic, plus it would definitely be NSFW) - is it unconvincing? It's sfw as it's blurred. Looks fake as it's filmed on a good quality camera, much too good to be the CCTV it's supposed to be, and the couple just happen to be good looking as opposed to the kind of people you'd usually associate with illegal breaking and entering.
February 26, 201511 yr Why does nobody in media call out wenger when he just walks off down the tunnel without shaking opposing manager's hand? When José does it, it's back page news. His a no mark, why should they bother.
February 26, 201511 yr football manager style, sell the good players for nothing, buy a load of 3rd division cloggers, play a formation of 7 down the left, one up front and 2 at right back. Lose 10-0 every game. Happy days. Not a lot of difference to what there playing now.
February 26, 201511 yr About 10 minutes into Fiorentina - Tottenham, still 0-0, Fiorentina fans have a banner with 'God save Joaquin' printed on it.
February 26, 201511 yr Fiorentina having loads of chances on the break already, they're sitting quite deep and playing balls over the top, primarily to Salah and Gomez, which have predictably been wasted.
February 26, 201511 yr Why they kicking off so early? It's the Europa league, they always have early games.
February 26, 201511 yr Watching Besiktas game and Gerrard seems to be skipping about like my little pony.
February 26, 201511 yr Matias Fernandez comes off injured, Aquilani comes on. Seems odd that they'd play so cautiously with both Aquilani and David Pizarro in midfield.
February 26, 201511 yr Oh they've already kicked off? Early doors then, what channel is it on? Fiorentina v Spurs - BT Sport 2 Edited February 26, 201511 yr by the special one
