February 26, 201511 yr Probably because United have played their part and we have never been in danger of losing our coefficient.
February 26, 201511 yr I've been laughing for the past 45 mins straight ! Congrats Besiktas . Liverpool supporters will blame Lovren but 150k a week Wannabe Sterling didn't fancy taking one . Looking forward to King Brenny's post match interview
February 26, 201511 yr Yes I am enjoying a large glass of vino celebrating Spuds and the Dippers not good enough for the last 16 of the Europa :) brilliant ......Wasn't so long ago they were both claiming champions league is where they deserve to be.
February 26, 201511 yr Yet again, Chelsea assume responsibility of the European coefficient. Haven't seen a single article on us keeping England up there after our European performances over the last 10 years. I remember reading big pete talking about the very subject a few years ago...found it online http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/petr-cech-exclusive-chelsea-deserve-more-appreciation-for-our-european-titles-8790901.html
February 26, 201511 yr Gerrard's swansong season is going brilliantly. still have a bad feeling about the FA Cup though and we're not around to stop them this time
February 26, 201511 yr We'll win the title in the game against Liverpool. That will be Gerrard's swan song. Witnessing the club he could have joined lift their 4th Premier League title in 10 years.

February 26, 201511 yr Spurs rested Kane and it bite them on the ar*e. Hopefully we make it a miserable week for them on Sunday. What has happened to the English European sides. Everton the only side through in both competitions, Spurs and Liverpool out, City and Arsenal facing up hill task. Our game finely balanced as well. Guess most of the Premier league sides are not as good as some would think.
February 26, 201511 yr Has BR mentioned Liverpool's character in the post match interview yet? Expect a better spurs team on Sunday, but damn they are awful without that striker.
February 27, 201511 yr We'll win the title in the game against Liverpool. That will be Gerrard's swan song. Witnessing the club he could have joined lift their 4th Premier League title in 10 years. If that happens that would be the sweetest, especially if he does a pass back to Costa like he did to Drogba back in 2010.
February 27, 201511 yr The boy had the character to step up. To step up and take great responsibilty. The courage of that young man is second to none. We go again, we have the character, character and character in this squad to achieve success. They play for Liverpool Football Club so the pressure is going to be huge but the lad has character, he's a tremendous lad with lots of character and his character is tremendous. Character. That had me in a fit of laughter. You're quite a character, Gem :-)
February 27, 201511 yr Sterling doing all he can to convince the Liverpool board he is worth that £100k a contract by (allegedly) refusing to take a penalty last night. No doubt the lad has talent but he seems pretty weak mentally right now, the refusing to take a penalty and needing a holiday mid season because he was "tired". When you consider how someone like Wayne Rooney was at Sterling's age in terms of ability and confidence I think Sterling still has a long way to go.
February 27, 201511 yr http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/liverpool-lose-besiktas-shootout-best-5239935 Balotelli the best penalty taker in the world? Clearly it's Shola Ameobi...
February 27, 201511 yr Louis van Gaal, if you hadn't noticed by now, quite often talks a load of sh*t. Asked about United's record over the last 15 games, Van Gaal replied "We have discussed in the last press conference, you have said it, not I, from the last 15 matches, that we have had the best result. I don't say that, but now I am reading that I have said, no, I have answered yes, I know, because I know that, you are writing that. But when you are writing the other way around, you are not being fair because you are pushing that we were the best, you have made comment on that."
February 27, 201511 yr Robbie Savage escaped a driving ban for speeding after his lawyer argued that he would get too much abuse if he had to take public transport. The former Wales midfielder turned TV pundit was rushing home from an Alan Shearer charity function to see his kids when he was clocked at 99mph in his luxury Bentley Mulsanne, a court heard. Savage faced the possibility of a 28-day ban but instead was fined £600 and given six points on his licence by magistrates in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, after his lawyer likened him to Marmite, reports the Northern Echo. Philip Morris, defending, told the court: “He is a name I’m sure is familiar to you. He is someone who as a result of his professional playing career in football has metamorphasised into a pundit. He is therefore particularly anxious about his licence. “Someone once described him as being like Marmite. You either love him or the opposite. As a consequence, the car provides something of a safe haven when getting from home to work and to charitable functions.”
