Rooney has now scored 10 or more goals in 11 consecutive Premier League seasons. He is now ahead of Lampard. At least Lampard will always be the first to get to 10, amazing for a midfielder.

Rooney's also way ahead of most footballers in the rough bird stakes.

Its amazing how many times ex man utd players O'Shea and brown seem to make game changing mistakes against their ex club man utd........

The ref's in this league making fool's of themselves again, he's sent off Wes Brown for Sunderland when it was O'Shea who made the foul. Useless, it's every week.

In England it's truly the 3 Blind Mice that control the game

Can't believe that I feel really good about Burnley loosing. Hope that lot is relegated.

Me too, was happy when that goal when it and swansea got the 3 points.

Burnley were the better side for most of the game to be fair, they just couldn't make it count, very little threat going forward.

Bear in mind that every point they don't gain increases the chances of QPR staying up...

They'll both go down, oh...... AND LEICESTER !!!!!

The sooner Ashley Barnes is back in the lower leagues, where his lack of talent and his accomplice Stephen hunt now resides, the better

It still baffled me how he escape a punishment.

Haha yeah Leicester are doomed. They haven't even played that badly a lot of the time, they just haven't been getting the results. I hope Burnley stay up to be honest, they have a decent young team with a good attitude and deserve top-flight status far more than the likes of Villa and QPR who have generally been awful.

Anyone else see Jedinak's elbow incident? Be interested to see what happens with this one.

Yup, nasty elbow, and clearly deliberate.

He won't be banned though. Guarantee it.

Southampton fading by the looks of it, that's a bit of a shame no doubt Arsenal and United or Dunkin Donuts FC will get 3 and 4th

but last week they were done over by the cheating scum of the refs from the EPL - the refs in this league are a bit embarrassing tbh

Agreed, bet if it was Diego Costa he wouldn't be escaping a ban

The intent was obvious to see, lucky for him he didn't catch him. But intent alone should get him a ban.

Didn't Brana get punished for a lot less? He put his hands in someone's face & got a 3 match ban?

Another week, another calamitous performance from a Premier League referee. Another clap on the back for the FA.
