Chelsea Fan Channel (YouTube)?!

Featured Replies

I just don't seem to understand why we don't have a regular chelsea channel on YouTube where we have all updates, fan reactions to games like all other clubs have?? ( arsenal have a brilliant channel with good feedbacks and fans reactions to games)

Don't make me start about chelsea TV where the videos is one second long??!!! We need to improve our channels is disappointing and sad :(

Funnily enough me and my friend were just discussing possibly making one in the far future. It's a shame we don't have a proper one as Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal all have one. Definetly have to look into it.

Something more like Arsenals would be fine, the interviewer they have does a good job I feel. The key is to not be too biased like the Liverpool one. You need a guy whose gonna ask the questions to the fans not answer them.

A lot of the fans that are interviewed for those channels end up making fools of themselves and their club, could be for the best that we don't have one.

You could be right. Look at arsenal TV they talk to the same clowns the whole time

Please, please, please don't have a look into it. An accident waiting to happen.

As long as it was edited in a way to cut out the embarrasing stuff like the Arsenal & Liverpool ones clearly don't, it might be interesting.

If you do start doing it don't interview people on the Fulham road you'll get a mix bag off day trippers away fans and the likes. maybe head down towards the MHS at least you'll hopefully get the view of regular matchday goers. Just a thought. I reckon it could be more Hassel then what its worth but good luck with it

my thoughts exactly!! Leave all that to the other scum.

No thanks.  The other ones are terrible, filled with YouTube "stars."  Leave that sh*t well alone.

Chelsea TV have enough build up and player reactions that we don't need anything like Arsenal Mania or RMTV

I was only wondering about it, doubt I would even get round to it but it would be nice. Saying that I've seen a video of people asking our fans about players who aren't even real and some Chelsea fans were acting as if they are.

I agree with everyone here that it would be embarrassing if we had our own fan channel. Just watching Arsenal and Liverpool fan TV makes me grateful that our club hasn't stooped to these levels to appear to appeal to our supporters.

It's not needed and we'll most likely be ridiculed by opposition supporters. In saying that, Arsenal and Liverpool can carry on as normal as I always enjoy watching their fan TV interviews especially after they lose a match! :laugh2:

No thanks. What might be an idea is for Chelsea TV to expand their Youtube content and have heavily edited interviews with fans.

Put it like this, would you have wanted 2 minute clips exploring the thoughts of our fans after the 1-0 loss to QPR under Rafa? Fan channels aren't for fans of the actual club. They're for opposition fans to laugh at.

The only exposure I've had to these youtube channels is when people post links to the Arsenal/Liverpool channels going "hahaha look at these twats". Fans of rival teams generally have just as bad an image of us as we do of them and this would probably just give them more ammunition.

I also don't see the point when we have our own proper TV channel anyway.

RMTV (Liverpool) is a pile of sh*t, if we tried something similar, I'd hate it to come over as anything like theirs, sooo bitter and deluded

getting reactions from fans pre and post game is all that's needed. Love watching aftv after Arsenal lose, the videos are hilarious - although it makes me wonder how bad a Chelsea version would be if it went the same way after a loss...maybe even worse? who's to know

that redmen sh*t try way too hard and actually charge people to subscribe to their inhouse videos. It's pretty pathetic

I recently started a blog and my latest (and only) post is on football fan TV channels. This might be an interesting read for those who have commented on this topic. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated and if you've got any questions don't hesitate to ask.

There is now a Chelsea fan channel on YouTube. The interviewer is very spoilt claiming we should be beating the 10 man West Brom 5-0, saying its not good enough, he feels goal difference could be vital and it was a wasted opportunity; it's extremely rare for GD to come into play and reserving energy will pick us up more points and making it irrelevant. I don't think he understands the idea of saving energy in games which can be a massive advantage over a long season.

He moans about Costa in every interview saying he's close to a suspension every game, he questions if Jose is the man to control his temperament and asks if Rafas Spanish connection would of been better for Costas game, he even asks if we should recall Torres.

He imposes his view on the fans he's interviewing and feels more concerned about getting validation for his view than getting the fans perceptive. It feels like a parody but I don't think it is. I know some people have called for a channel but every other channel just gets mocked by other teams and have characters which "represent" that clubs fans. I hope I'm not alone on wanting this channel to ended as soon as possible.
