Are our rivals about to catch or overtake us?

Featured Replies

I can't deny, I'm bricking it. Seems like we struggle to put winning runs of more than 4 games together wheras City have the know how to do that during the business end.

Fingers crossed. To lose out now will be so gutting.

Get used to the idea, looking at the fixture list posted above cannot see us beating the FA too many times.

If we blow 8 points lead twice this season plus given that how strong first XI we have... then I think Mourinho is done.

No offense to him... but it would certainly be more than just unacceptable

Squads win you titles these days not First XI's. Let's hope ours proves to be strong enough.

We don't use our squad though. We've run the first XI into the ground and now it's starting to show.

What's worrying is that Mourinho is consistently failing to defend one-goal leads now.

Now here's the dilemma, normally I would never want to see the bin dippers win a raffle, never mind a football match.

Problem is that their game against City at the weekend could be vital in the race for the title. Hate to admit it, but I am seriously considering not wanting the victims to lose.

Need to wash my hands now, after typing that!

Same here. I so want Loserpool to do a good thing once in a lifetime and take points on the weekend, but I feel ashamed saying that...

Think Liverpool will be smashed by City. They have trully improving in their last games but their defence is pathetic, so can be easy for City attackers to break through. March will be so important so we can't letting City leads the table because then will be difficult to getting on the top again.

Hope we establish ourselves and winning at Wembley which will be perfect for player's confidence.

Sunday 12th April: QPR vs Chelsea, 1pm; Manchester United vs Manchester City, 4pm

You know what happened last time we played QPR away the same day Man City were at Old Trafford... We lost & they beat United 6-1! Let's hope history doesn't repeat itself eh!

QPR 1 Chelsea 6

United 1 City 0

Nope. City have enough time but they don't play well. Silva, Aguero, Toure, Milner, Nasri and Lampard are great footballers but like a time, they a trash. And this for 2009. Their 2 titles was a gift, from West London both. This year wouldn't be the same.

Still plenty to play for, we haven't been playing great ourselves at the moment.

Not going to be over confident just yet, focus on the cup today, but whatever happens after today the West Ham game is a must 3 points. That's a decisive factor right now, going to have to come up strong and I don't expect us to play pretty.

Very good performance by Pool and equally poor by The Moons.

I have to say but Brenda has got his team's tail up with some nice up-tempo play.  Something we don't do enough of across a match - we have spurts but that's it.

Anyway, 5 in front and 1 in hand and it's starting to look do-able.

I will say though on a huge positive, the best thing about City losing today is that they still have problems. I thought they would crush Liverpool today and the Europa League game didn't really help me think otherwise.

City losing shows they still have problems, they are still inconsistent, that's good, I didn't want them catching up already, got to keep winning our games. It's no better form us to be honest if we can't win at West Ham.

There team is ageing and in its peak it won't get any better. Whilst we have a younger squad with players who can still improve like Azpi,Courtois,Oscar Hazard etc. Its not easy for City to replace these players with FFP. I can see them being worse next season.

Few rumors going around that City want Benitez to replace Pellegrini

:laugh2:

To be honest his can they complain about him? He won the League Cup and League Title last season and they're not gonna finish outside the Top Four. Tell you such spoilt fans honestly.
