Are our rivals about to catch or overtake us?

Nasri's a tool and he's talking so much bullsh*t it's not funny!

The fact is that no one likes him not even his own teammates.

Maybe if Nasri had scored more than 1 league goal this season they wouldn't be 7 points behind.

Poor man's James Milner in that case.

The city players are absolutely pathetic, the lot of them. Focus on trying to beat relegation fodder at your own ground before going on social media and slagging off the team, maybe then they wouldn't be 7 points behind. In terms of rivals I certainly hate Arsenal and Liverpool most but I don't hate a team's players more than the City squad.

Good call. I hate a lot of players more than their club.

Liverpool are an exception, although I feared not hating them after Stevie leaves (did anyone know he was leaving?). Luckily, this Henderson bloke is being nicely groomed to hate :)

Like most, I don't really hate these players, but they do make me shout at the telly.

Funny you say that, he's generally despised in France, despite playing for the national side !!

We beat them twice last season and didn't brag about it at all, Nasri's is bragging about a draw at home and a draw when we were very tired, well done, congratulations. City have a big inferiority complex, they are desperate for attention and I'm not just saying that because Nasri's laughable comments have offended me. Kompany said that City are a bigger club than us, obviously that's rubbish, as we were not far off from being a top side before Roman came in, plus you compare the history between the two clubs, we're clearly the bigger club.

Now Nasri has said we are nothing special, they are just looking for attention, that whole club is obsessed with being as big as United. Nasri mentioned how City clawed back 8 points before, that's great, now they are 7 points behind, he doesn't actually realise that all that proves is that we have more quality than them and they could only hang with us for a short period of time, before the gap opened up again...what a complete fool he is, bang average player too.

We are apparently not very good, certainly not fantastic. So says Samir Nasri:

Maybe we should just give up to City then? lol.

They do love to talk about us don't they?

Nasri strikes me as a bitter, childish and self important individual.

If he fails then it's everyones fault bar his own.

He's nothing more than a squad member at City but still see's himself as the so called superstar who pulled the strings at Arsenal.

Really dislike Nasri but he is quite a dangerous little player when he's on form. Obviously not as good as he thinks he is, and these City players do seem to be making some strange noises. Comments above sum it up nicely.

It could still go to the wire. Only because there hasn't been nearly enough rotation and resting of players. Good that there has been this recent enforced sitting out of Azpi, Fabregas, Costa, though.

Nasri hasn't stopped there this time slamming Didier Deschamps and Hugo Lloris for his exclusion from the French World Cup squad. What a d**khead!

A buddy is French & huge French team supporter. He feels that Nasri has the talent, but doesn't have the mentally to be a team player. I have to agree with that sentiment. After what happened in 2010 in SA, The French want players that put the team first. As you can tell Nasri thinks about his prosperity first. That is the reason why he left le arse. Oh evissy, when you start to feel apprehension of the current season, I suggest you start to sing a chorus or two of Carefree. No reason to be tightly wound up. Enjoy the season!!! It's Chelsea!!! Through the sunshine & the falling rain we are Chelsea & Chelsea is our Name...Hey!!!

If any fan, regardless of whether they hate us or not, actually agreed with Nasri's comments about us, then their doctor needs to prescribe them with better medication. Funnily enough, I saw one idiot stating that of coarse Nasri was right, we have relied solely on luck and only have two good players, the rest are thugs apparently, even if Costa was a thug, does that mean that he isn't a good player? I think mancs rely on drugs, plenty of crack.

Of course they do; I'd rely on crack too if I lived in Manchester or Surrey*.

*except for Chelsea fans, of course...

Manchester City host Newcastle tomorrow evening.

Any chance of points being dropped in that one do we think or will it just be a formality for City with Toure back and Bony in line to make his debut?

I have always thought City are more likely to drop points at home rather than away.

If they don't score in the first half the stadium turns on them and they seem to panic.

Not sure if tomorrow will be 'that' game though, Newcastle are a mixed bag...you never know what team will turn up.

I thought City were playing Swansea?

My mistake it's United playing there.  Must've misread it earlier.

They'll win today and it could be 2 points next week.

Feel sick to death.

Refs bump us clearly but we don't help ourselves!!!!!!

We should've gone for the kill but we always seem to leave ourselves open. What isit with us??????

City go down to 10 men vs Us and Southampton and they still come back.

We go 10 down and are lucky not to lose.

This team really needs to fix up. I hope Jose has a good plan.

Really am gutted. Feels like a loss.

Whilst we're still in a god position at the moment, honestly, I think they will overtake us before the end. They tend to finish seasons strongly, and we have been really struggling of late and have only played well once or twice since the turn of the year. Jose's teams of the past would have ground out a 1-0 against Burnley, even with 10 men. I don't think we quite have that ability any more. At least nowhere near the level we used to

I'm sure it will go down to the wire but I'm still confident we'll edge City. They have a tougher run in than we do and will drop silly points like they have all year. That said though, their recent upswing in form is a worry. Let's hope that they beat Barca and therefore something other than the PL to deal with.

Was starting in 'slightly peeved', but more than now! When I watch MoTD2 I don't want to see the Gallagher fool. He said we're 'not that special', liked that our 1-1 was 'controversial which makes it better', then said we'll edge it. Also, thanks to him Brenton, who he refers to as The Brodge, is now 'trending world wide'.

I can't deny, I'm bricking it. Seems like we struggle to put winning runs of more than 4 games together wheras City have the know how to do that during the business end.

Fingers crossed. To lose out now will be so gutting.
