Very unlikely at this point. Mourinho is worldclass and I can't see him slipping, he'll see this through. Brendan on the other hand was inexperienced and got a bit full of himself.

Even if you do drop points against us or Arsenal. We've still got to play Arsenal as well. It's not impossible but it's just highly unlikely that you won't be able to get over 11 points from 7 games and you'll only need 11 points if Arsenal win 6/6.

Indeed, every time I'm tempted to get into such a discussion I hold back, I don't want to even think about it in case it doesn't happen.

Not over till the fat lady sings, but it's damn near impossible for Arsenal to catch us. We would have to drop points in at least 4 games out of 6, which I just don't see. Realistically, we will have three games (Liverpool & Sunderland at home, West Brom away) that we don't have to worry about. Which makes me wonder: what would you like to see happen in those games?


Personally, I would immediately release a few key players for an early holiday - after they pick up their medals .  This is because of the early start of next season and how much they have played - Terry, Dave, Ivanovic, Willian, Hazard (!), Fabregas.


Play Cech and rest Courtois.


Wrap Costa in wool and play him only if 101% fit.


Play our squad players in every game: Filipe, Cuadrado, Mikel, Ramires, Zouma


Play the youth - RLC, Ake, Christiansen, Izzy Brown, Solanke, etc.



A line-up for those games would be:


Cech - Christiansen  Cahill  Zouma  Luis - Mikel  Ramires - Cuadrado  Costa  Remy
