January 29, 201511 yr I enjoy a good moan up and releasing of frustrations as much as the next guy but the title of this thread just ruins it. Couldn't have made it any worse If it was called "the Campain?" Instead I think that would be much better cause it leaves it up to us to discuss if we think there is one or not.
January 29, 201511 yr As far as the media are concerned, they like a villain to attack and in recent years this has been predominately Chelsea. Try an experiment until the end of the season by logging how many negative articles there are about Chelsea in comparison to positive ones. Today for example, there were 4 or 5 negative articles and no positives on the Mirror sports pages. This is a daily occurrence and not just in the papers but also during commentaries of matches on TV. A couple of days ago following the Liverpool game at the Bridge the BBC followed up on their website with a story titled- Did Chelsea deserve to win. I cannot think of a time when any of our rivals or any club for that matter have had similar headlines following a great victory. Another thing that concerns me is this so called retrospective action by the FA after a match is concluded. This allows all of the usual pundits to pontificate on a contentious issue and thereby put pressure on the FA who are flaky and impressionable in their rulings at the best of times. Actions need to be taken during a match and not afterwards and if a referee needs new technology such as camera playback etc to spot issues during a game then so be it. Rant over
January 29, 201511 yr Author If it was called "the Campain?" Instead I think that would be much better cause it leaves it up to us to discuss if we think there is one or not. I think It's still open and up to for everyone to discuses it despite the title. that's the purpose of the thread and why I shared it with you guys

January 30, 201511 yr Surprised why not spoiled crying kid for sure!!! Is it me or does this make no sense? I was going to say "this sentence" but it isn't one. Sorry if English isn't your first language but I genuinely don't know what you mean.
January 30, 201511 yr Is it me or does this make no sense? I was going to say "this sentence" but it isn't one. Sorry if English isn't your first language but I genuinely don't know what you mean. It's a surprised "Why" in the title not a crying kid "Whyyyy" I think. That's what I assumed he meant.
January 30, 201511 yr We did have players diving, Jose didn't do us any favours by going out in public crying about referees after that too. Even though some decisions went against us.Costa isn't that innocent either. Google him down or check on youtube dirty Costa v Real Madrid What we need is brush off, shake up and carry on winning. Be a team, be unite, be solid. p.s. and no more Tottenham flops please.
January 30, 201511 yr It's a surprised "Why" in the title not a crying kid "Whyyyy" I think. That's what I assumed he meant. Ah, I can see that now - I was genuinely flummoxed by it!
January 30, 201511 yr A select few vocal commentators/pundits do have a vendetta, or perhaps campaign, against Chelsea. Sports sections then use the commentary/punditry to base their own articles on, and the headline makers sensationalize. Our club is then dragged through the mud in the media much to the glee of the masses, which to be fair would be the same for any of the other top clubs, and then the organization of political prostitutres...sorry, the FA, just do what they do: bow down to public pressure and do whatever they feel is most popular/will best appease the mob. That or the inconsistency is an epidemic of incompetence and apparently a panel of 9 year olds are making all the decision on a case by case basis and CFC have just been unfortunate to go infront of them either right before nap time/bath time/snack time, when they are at their crankiest. I wont say that the media or FA as a whole are out for Chelsea, but there is definitely a consistency in regard to the inconsistency between how CFC players/manager are treated compared to other clubs. Can I explain it? No, but I also cant explain why Kim Kardashian is so popular. But she is and thus failure to explain something does not equate to proof of its non-existence. Who here honestly thinks that had Mourinho shoved Wenger, he wouldnt of faced a massive ban with certain pundits probably calling for a permanent BPL ban?
January 30, 201511 yr That video only features Costa a few times and mostly includes players diving around all over the place, I'm not saying that Costa is an angel, but in this day and age the media overreact to everything. It's not much of a mans game anymore and they've portrayed Costa as the pantomime villain, because he's an easy target and becuase he plays for us. Regarding the diving, there was a particular week when more or less every team had a player diving, but they focused solely on us, it boils down to an extreme lack of professionalism with the pundits and press in this country. We did have players diving, Jose didn't do us any favours by going out in public crying about referees after that too. Even though some decisions went against us. Costa isn't that innocent either. Google him down or check on youtube dirty Costa v Real Madrid What we need is brush off, shake up and carry on winning. Be a team, be unite, be solid. p.s. and no more Tottenham flops please. January 30, 201511 yr He should be banned from our stadium, I don't know why we let him in. You have to admit, Stan Collymore is the biggest c**t of all of them though.
January 30, 201511 yr Hypothetically, a Liverpool win would have changed all the head lines to the usual sh*t about the glorious scousers
January 31, 201511 yr Author It's a surprised "Why" in the title not a crying kid "Whyyyy" I think. That's what I assumed he meant. Thanks for the clarification and that's exactly what I meant

January 31, 201511 yr Author If you used punctuation and sentences I wouldn't have been able to misread it. Stim rewrote your words properly. I agree of course, but sometimes your point of view can be misread even with the use of punctuation? At lease one person understood what I meant. Don't worry, I will make sure I make it for everyone to read next time :)
