I can't help but feel if the club had handled the situation better initially both would still be employed by Chelsea. Looking back at the Swansea game we played with good intensity chasing the win, the sh*tstorm of a season only came after the outburst by José. A simple apology along the lines of heat of the moment and a quiet behind the scenes censor for both to keep grievances in house. From this moment our season has dipped weekly.

I actually feel the same thing, I was quite pleased with the performance until some certain event, regrettable one..

I can't seriously believe that the resignation of the club physio caused this collapse.

Players see other players,back room staff and managers they love come and go, and we haven't ended up this far down the table.

We got to the final of the Champions League after we sacked Jose the first time, and a lot of our old guard were devasated, but it didn't stop the team pulling together. If there is one grain of truth in the suggestion that the physio leaving has caused this, then I really do despair.

And if Gary Staker ever left we'd be f*cked.

To be fair the time we actually won the Champions League it was in no small part down to the fact that our medical staff had miraculously managed to bring our only non-suspended centre back partnership way ahead of schedule... a medical staff which included a recently-appointed Eva Carneiro!

so no recognition of what he did to help win us the title last season and the times before that? it's the players who do the majority of the hard work, remember that. 

That's not really the choice we've had to make, merely one possibility offered by the consequences of what was (in my opinion) an inevitable decision.

It was entirely José's fault that Carneiro ultimately left; we've had an excellent injury record during her tenure, and if she is willing there is no reason we shouldn't have her back, and it would provide a neat ending to what was an incredibly unpleasant story which did not make the club look good at all.

they're obviously morons then because they don't even know the full story and they're on his back? i don't thinnk it's acceptable to get on any player's back who currently plays for us and has done a lot of us. disgraceful. guilty until proven innocent.

The point I am making is that if her leaving can be considered more earth shattering than Carlo, Jose and Di Matteo going and Rafa coming in...Then I give up, how an average looking middle aged Woman can make so many people lose their sh*t is beyond me.

If that is really what happened of course. Either way I hope she never gets within 10 feet of our club again.

maybe you lot miss the point, it's not about eva, keep that sexims away of the matter.. it's about jose, that tyrant attitude which is unacceptable..

May as well do it on a day where it'll get buried.

Good for Eva, if it means restoring some harmony I'd hope the club reinstate her position. It looks increasingly likely that Jose's arrogance in the way he handled the situation was his downfall.
