Hopefully this one won't have 'legs', on the other hand though it could have some truth in it. Costa away from his footballing world has a life to live and if he hasn't settled here he could well crave a return to what he knew and liked. It worries me slightly that despite having been signed for close on 12 months he doesn't speak a word of English, this will undoubtedly make it hard to live a life away from the club. I wonder if Felipe Luis was signed originally not only for his quality but to help Diego settle, if he hasn't too a problem could arise.

 To be fair, it's not like he can just nip back and forth every few days during a season though is it.

The thing with this rumour is that you can't rule it out. Who knows how Costa feels. It might just be true.

In a normal season we play around 50-60 odd games, Costa is injury prone while Remy can fill in on the wing. Bamford if used as the third option would get plenty of playing time for us as Drogba did last season. We will be in 4 competitions fighting on all fronts so there is plenty of playing time there.

Having a player earning well over 100 grand a week taking up a place we could easily fill with a talented hungry young Englishman just seems bizarre to me personally.

So how many minutes would you expect Bamford to get to the closest 100?

 

Drogba got a lot of minutes because Costa and Remy were injured at the same time.

I don't, i don't think this is true and i certainly hope it's not.

too put everyone's mind at ease, have a look at the clubs twitter account. Those who haven't got twitter the quote is "I have no reason to leave this place, I love it, the fans love me and I want to stay"

I think FSW got his orders mixed up. He probably recalls managing a BPL side that struggled to keep hold of their top talent and thinks he can poach from them. Clearly he forgot that was LFC, not CFC.
