I noticed we don't have a thread for this but I'm absolutely buzzing to see what comes out of this, the rumours I've been reading think it's going to be something special. Apparently Microsoft are pulling out all the stops to try and catch Sony in Worldwide sales, so some of the games I've heard about being announced or getting more details on are:

- FIFA 16

- CoD: Black Ops 3

- rise of the tomb raider

- fallout 4

- a new rockstar game heavily rumoured to be 'red dead revolution'

- Datk Souls 3

- halo 5

- possibly a new gears of war

- forza 6

- battletoads

- doom 4

- mass effect 4

- mirrors edge 2

- God of war

- uncharted 4

I've probably even missed some but I thought this would give us a good place to discuss it when it starts, some really amazing games potentially going to come out over the next 12 months!

Battletoads still makes me cry now. So f**king hard.

I don't think my mind will be able to handle a new Red Dead game.

I don't know if I have mentioned it before, but my best friend's friend who I've met on a couple of occasions works for Rockstar. And he's hinted once or twice to me that they are bringing out a new Red Dead. I've begged him for more info but understandably he won't say anymore.

Fallout 4 gameplay and a Red Dead announcement would be fantastic. Some good FIFA progress would be great as well. Normally I'd be interested in COD but I haven't played BO1 or BO2 other than Zombies and I won't be getting this one. I was disappointed it wasn't a WAW game like some predicted.

So Fallout 4 is confirmed for release on November 10th this year! Gameplay reveal looked great, lots of new and interesting features added to the game such as building your own strongholds throughout the wasteland. Fully voiced character for the first time and the NPCs can refer to you by your name. Specially edition includes a fully functional pip boy. Basically it looks great. 

 

Also the first game play reveal of Doom 4.... It looks epic. Gloriously gory and that's coming out in Spring 2016.

I'm just watching fallout 4 gameplay the graphics are insane compared to the old one! This is absolutely epic! I'm so buzzing for this now!! It's like watching a film!

It's gonna take a lot of work for other developers to match this showing!

I wouldn't say the graphics are that 'next gen' to be honest. Obviously gameplay is more important than graphics but games should be able to have both. Still looks good though.

Yeah It's certainly not on the level of the Order or MGS.

However gameplay is the core and if it plays well then that's what matters.

I'd say they're very next gen, lighting and textures are very impressive, you wouldn't have been able to get anywhere close to those sorts of graphics on the PS3 or Xbox 360. 

Never played a Fallout game before, but I am definitely getting Fallout 4. This is the part that sold it to me: you can create your own settlement.

As Fc says I think the effects are definitely next gen, but the models wont be. They are usually quite laughably bad in Fallout games anyway, they've never been able to get movements right for instance. But that's not what these games are about, thankfully gameplay is their priority. And give me an in depth, massive world to explore over pretty grass any day.

The new pro evo actually looks quite decent, will be interesting to play the demo!

The excitement of the E3, Fallout 4 reveal has got to me....This is now pre ordered. 

 

On the subject of Fallout.
