September 6, 201510 yr I've got a little bit addicted to it myself recently.I've been watching it lately, then "last man earth" right after it.
September 6, 201510 yr What that? Something to do with drugs I'm guessing from the title? Yeah it's on Netflix. Basically the story of Pablo Escobar.
September 7, 201510 yr Watched the 1st episode of Narcos. Very very very good. I watched it as well last night, probably the best first episode of anything I've seen on Netflix so far. Being a true story it's also interesting from an historical/political perspective, although I've no idea how accurate it is.
September 7, 201510 yr The Catch. As lovers of fish and shell fish, we will never be so casual about it again.
September 7, 201510 yr I've been watching the trials of Jimmy Rose, I know Ray winstone is an aquired taste, always playing the same sort of character etc but he can hardly do any wrong for me, even Amanda Redman seems to be in a lot of decent stuff and they go well together. Other than that I watched the new Vacation that everyone is predicting will be crap...well it made me chuckle here and there although thats not a big pointer to its quality.
September 7, 201510 yr Ray Winstone is fantastic!! Is the Trials of Jimmy Rose on Ntflix, Chippy, or are you watching it on telly?

On Telly Moi, it's on sunday nights at about nine on ITV 1 I think, if you can't get it and can wait till the series ends I can stick it on DVD and send it to you if you'd like.

That would be brilliant, Chippy! How much have I missed? I'll try this Sunday and see how far on it is. My favourite Ray Winstone film is 44 Inch Chest

That's a statement Geezer would have got his teeth into , I've seen it and all his films I think Moi, he played Carling in Scum when I was a nipper and I've seen everything since, strangest being that Beowulf thing. September 22, 201510 yr Two new to shows out in America last night. Blindspot. Just about to watch this - seems very similar to the plot for Memento going that the plot line. May be way off base though. Minority Report. Based 10 years after the movie. Will watch later.
September 22, 201510 yr Started watching Peaky Blinders at the weekend, pleasantly surprised how good it is.
September 22, 201510 yr Blindspot is interesting. I'll definitely keep watching. Memento meets Jason Bourne
September 22, 201510 yr OK - likewise, if you've never seen 44 Inch Chest, I can send you the DVD of that! I remember seeing that with my wife and best mates. None of us understood anything about the film. Afterwards my wife was like maybe it's just an American thing, that she didn't get it because of that. My mates and I didn't have that excuse and still couldn't figure out the plot. Please can you summarise for me. Edited September 22, 201510 yr by MissouriBlue
September 23, 201510 yr Started watching Peaky Blinders at the weekend, pleasantly surprised how good it is. Watched the first series on Netflix or NowTV (can't remember which), is any more available anywhere?
September 23, 201510 yr Watched the first series on Netflix or NowTV (can't remember which), is any more available anywhere? I'm watching series1 on Netflix right now, they don't have the second series up unfortunately. Reminder that the Beeb can still put out quality programming when they're not trying push sh*t Celebrity Ballroom Dancing With Their Pets.
September 23, 201510 yr I remember seeing that with my wife and best mates. None of us understood anything about the film. Afterwards my wife was like maybe it's just an American thing, that she didn't get it because of that. My mates and I didn't have that excuse and still couldn't figure out the plot. Please can you summarise for me. Copied from IMDB Colin is in agony, shattered by his wife's infidelity. However, he has friends who do more than stand by -- they kidnap the wife's French lover and hold him prisoner so that Colin can restore his manhood with revenge. A kangaroo court takes place and as the situation escalates Loverboy's life hangs in the balance as Colin wrestles with revenge, remorse, grief and self pity, all the while egged on by his motley crew of friends who just want him to get on with it so they can get down the pub. Maybe you have to be British to understand the dialogue!
September 30, 201510 yr Fall season and a lot of new to shows released. The Player - Centres around a security expert in Las Vegas, starring Wesley Snipes. Heroes Reborn - based a year after the terrorism attack in Texas - continuing on from the previous show. The Grinder - A comedy about a TV star who plays a lawyer, going back home to work for his family law firm. Blunt Talk - Patrick Stewart comedy. Looks crap. Minority Report - based on the movie with Tom Cruise - 10 years after the movie. Awful reviews so far. Will get cancelled. Blindspot - Based on a girl waking up with amnesia and specific tattoos all over her body naming FBI agents and locations. Similar start to Memento crossing over with Jason Bourne. Episode one was really good but episode two slightly deviated off track a little and was a little repetitive. Could be good. Decent reviews too. Scream Queens. Another remake of Scream by the look of things.
September 30, 201510 yr Constantly watch Empire on FOX which is currently starting season 2, for years have been into NCIS and NCIS LA and Hawaii Five-O, for some reason I really enjoy those. As for shows that don't run anymore Two and a half men is the greatest ever, and How I Met Your Mother is great aswell.. I must admit I do have a guilty pleasure which is Pretty Little Liars... an 18-year old guy really shouldn't be watching that but bloody hell it's too interesting.
