That's how I read it too.

Quite frankly I don't know why everyone loves to shoot the Papy fan down.  Yes he seems quite biased towards him, but so am I when defending my favourite players.

To be honest I have never have never watched him play and I don't even know what to expect.

No, there's just no point in going in circles. I said what I wanted to say and that's that. I only commented on the Mikel issue, because someone was putting words in my mouth I never said just to ridicule me.

 

I would relish a Djilobodji / Koulibaly back two though :) Been hoping for it for some time @ Senegal.

He's the best defender in Germany, Italy or wherever he is playing though...

Presumably he's going off on loan again. It's pretty damning that Conte would rather take an injured Ivanovic on tour than Djilobodji.

I thought he looked poor in both games personally, his positioning was awful. 

 

Against Vienna him and Baba were getting pulled all over the place on that left side of the defence. 

So that's now Jose, Guus and Conte who don't rate the boy.

That speaks volumes.

his positioning for a top level defender is embarrassing, he literally looked like he had no idea where to be at times. The one thing I hate more than anything in a centre back is when they follow a player who is marked or picked up already, leaving another free. And he did it several times.

I guess at his age, if he still hasn't figured out positioning, there's not much hope.

At least if we have a back four of Ivanovic - Papy- Hector - Baba, we'll get to see one hell of a lot of goals.

He lost his passport.

Sure he did.....

Nothing to do with the fact he was made to look like a complete donkey in the pre season games.

You have to be sh*tting me. If nothing else, I don't think Conte will stand for that sort of unprofessionalism, he's a grown man so the old 'I lost my passport' is crazy! If I lost my passport before a business trip in work i'd be torn apart, and I make a fraction of what these lads make, have a feeling ol' Papy is done for here
