Everton v Chelsea (PL) 12/09/2015 KO 12:45 BST

Featured Replies

We got Falcao, Fabregas, Costa, Hazard and Pedro in attack, and yet we look no more than any other mid table attack, at best.

Work that f**ker out !!

Thanks, but go back and read the history again.

He's has 3 seasons at 2 clubs and he's finished 2nd in both of them. This 3rd season thing is bullsh*t.

Easy, the Goal isn't located around the sides of the box, if it was we would be class

I can understand why it was done but taking Mikel off changed the game for the worse.

Not it didn't. Everton were creating chances with him on the field just as much as when he came off. We weren't exactly creating much with him on it either. He offered as much as anyone else before he came off and that was nothing.

Costa and Fabregas are good, but not that good.

Falcao?! I'm puzzled people are still expecting anyhitng from him.

Don't see where we go from here. Dropping Ivanovic is only part of the solution.

Our midfield is a disaster area. From Lampard, Makalele, Essien and Ballack to Matic and Mikel.

WTF is that about?

There was probably only one positive actually, and that was Matic went was not abysmal like he has been. All this tap tap tap and lose the ball. How many shots on target were there? And the set peice threat is non existent. One off strike strike from Matic. Other than that, did it ever looked convincing that the team would score?

Not for me. Compare to Everton and how much more threatening they were.

I wish people would stop telling other posters how to feel. If someone feels frustrated and feels the need to vent it, let them.

When you tell others they're "spoilt, should support the team ffs and trust Jose no matter what", question their loyalty and start the good old "where were you when..." routine, I feel the urge to tell the lot of you to slide your collective tongues up Jose Mourinho's ass and leave'em there.

We've been playing like crap for a while now and the manager deserves to be slated. That's his job, to prepare the team, to motivate the players. If they appear poorly trained and unmotivated, he has to carry the biggest responsibility. Yet another embarrassing post game interview from him today to match the gutless performance on the pitch.

Our main problem is the defence and central midfield. Majority of them are slow, wich forces us to play a low defensive line. Matic and Fabregas can't handle the big space that opens up between our defence and attack. So instead of pressuring as a team and forcing the other team to make mistakes in their own half, we usually end up with 2-3 players pressuring and the other team just passing it into a wide open central midfield.

3rd season of Jose guys ....If you want to understand more ...analyze every job Jose did till today !!

Ok, he won the F.A Cup, League cup and finished runners up in the league and got to the Champions League semi final for us first time around, that is a successful season. At Real Madrid he won their version of Community shield and nothing else, poor season.

So in the 2 clubs he has spent 3 full seasons at, he has had one successful season and one poor season. This 3rd season syndrome thing is crap.

Dont know where to start.

Too much backing off when midfield line is broken. No stopping crosses and shots. Not bright enough on the ball.

Dont agree with the JM bashing, however if a similar team starts against Maccabi, then he is as much to blame for picking these underperfoming players, as the players are for playing so poorly.

Well I thought for sure before this match we would get the 3 points but it seems to me that we are to slow and deliberate in the final third. This bad result will usher in changes such as Branna, Costa, as well as Fab being dropped for the Maccabi and Arsenal match.

Who did? I didnt see much .... but please dont say stop asking questions?

Some forum members advocating sacking Mourinho five games after we won the league, let alone a season or two, is a very handy reminder to stop viewing the matchday thread after a loss.

Ok guys lets say mou loses the next 2 games abramovic hits the panic button sacks José Steve Holland takes over for the rest of the season gets us a cl spot & a decent cup run and pep takes over next season...i apologise for ruinning yr aftetnoon at the thought but what if...

who ? I thought I was replying to particular post... what did you assume?

"Blind support is equal to extremism"

He's not THAT bad, is he. I thought he's been doing alright for them.

Not it didn't. Everton were creating chances with him on the field just as much as when he came off. We weren't exactly creating much with him on it either. He offered as much everyone in before he came off and that was nothing.

Not defensively, we were all at sea. I was talking in regards to keeping the ball.

Your both wrong we were in the Second Division in 1988.

How am I wrong I never said anything about what division we were in I was just saying the premier league wasn't around in 1988

Drop them?

Why do you think he would?

Top 4 should be the target now, with a couple of cup finals.

Knew we'd struggle when I saw the line up, Ivanovic...

Kennedy was good lads..... Idiots calling for him to play, this isn't Football Manager.
