I'm not in favour of wholesale changes when chips are down. It almost never works. However, with so many players not performing up to the mark, we need some changes and sustained starts to the likes of RLC, Ramires, Oscar, Kenedy etc. We need bite and energy in the middle of the park and RLC has bags of them and has shown everytime he's started. Jose needs to trust these guys more otherwise what's the point of having a squad? Just for injuries and suspensions? This just gives out one signal - there are untouchables in the squad and everyone else has to be content with bit part role no matter how poor the starting eleven may be.

Ola Aina or Ramires should start for us at RB. They cant be as poor as Ivanovic

At this moment in time I would much rather play with 10 men than have Ivanovic at RB

it seems that jose certainly knows that ivanovic is everybody's favourite choice to be dropped by the fact he has given him the capt arm band. baffling.

what should be a stroll in the park home game has suddenly become a real pressure game. lets hope the team have more confidence than us.

Good point, the sale of Bertrand was pretty rash. Anyway, I'm not looking forward to this game at all, I'll support Chelsea no matter what, but like most I'm completely fed up, something has to change.

At the time we sold him I don't think anyone could forsee the improvement that Bertrand would make at Southampton,although Koeman is a highly intelligent coach who has obviously improved him.

When we are playing with two passengers,Ivanovic and Fabregas, someone please tell me what the selection of the immobile Mikel brings. The man has had his day in aChelsea shirt.

Also 4-2-3-1 doesnt suit us at this moment in time, we need to return to 4-3-3, should make us harder to break down, with none of the above three selected for Saturday. Terry to return is a no brainer as well.

Baba panics a lot, am not sure he can live up to expectations, am really dissapointed we allow Luis to go

It's prediction time and for this match I am going for a 2-1 win to Chelsea.  The one goal conceded wil probably be due to Ivanovic's fault.

 

This will lift some spirits amongst the fans until the next defeat.

I have a feeling the bad spell is over, I think we will win this in style and will rocket to the top after, I dont know why I feel this but I really do think this is it.

I really hope that more senior players that were left out of the starting XI yesterday, see it as the kick in the arse that they need to get it started, minus Ivanovic. Really hope that this is the turning point in our season, City is dropping points and we need to start picking up points.

 

I will be there for the Southampton match so hopefully it turns out positive.

I wouldn't mind seeing two up front, it might be quite effective, Remy isn't great as a lone striker, Falcao's movement has been very good, otherwise there's no way Remy should start over Falcao. If we go with one up front, I'd like to see Oscar play deeper, alongside either Ramires or RLC, preferably RLC as Ramires seems to play better as an impact sub, but there's no way that Fabregas should play, maybe not Matic either, I'd also like to see Kenedy start.

Let's see if Jose can stop being stubborn and make the changes that he only seems to talk about, he mentions that there are no untouchables when there clearly are, Ivanovic and Fabreagas, if Terry doesn't play then in my opinion, that's an indication that something has gone wrong behind the scenes, or Jose is making a statement, which is frankly stupid.

No he wouldn't. Dave would still be at LB and Ivanovic at RB, with Bertrand struggling to make the bench. Jose has his favourites and doesn't deviate from them too much.

I meant first choice in the eyes of the fans, but I agree with you, I think Ivan would still be playing.
