Please dont use the extra 30 seconds as an excuse.  How hard is it to hold on for 30 seconds?

It's back to jose specialty, 1 and only..  Playing on counter from the off, tbf it looked that we managed to contain them (until the goal) but maybe because they're clumsy on possession.. Had our counter been a lit bit better, we could really hit them..  They did look vulnerable for counter..

 

This is worrying, if we even struggled creating chance during a counter when the gap is more visible, how can we do it in a normal way?

Players seemed to think the half was over and stopped playing. Took their cue from Jose scampering down the tunnel.

Still, playing on the break for 80 mins was bound to be a risky tactic.

It's not as if we looked dangerous on the counterattack.

Interesting point. The old phrase 'play to the whistle' but did our manager and players switch off in the 44th minute?

I can't offer any legitimate tactical insight seeing as I spent the entire first half yelling "KILL 'EM" at the screen
