October 27, 201510 yr I can't even believe some are suggesting Alan f**king Pardew over Mourinho For England maybe, not Chelsea... Will Mou take the England job if out of work next summer? Edited October 27, 201510 yr by the special one
October 27, 201510 yr I just looked at the memorable quote going across the bottom of my screen and it was from Englishmen, could have been anytime over the last few years but he had it spot on and it deserves another airing... " Us looking for a new manager these days is a bit like Henry VIII looking for a new wife. There'll always be someone desperate or ambitious enough but the very best catches who have plenty of suitors and value their heads will look elsewhere. " Don't know if you've been on lately Englishmen but this is as apt now as it was then...well said.
October 27, 201510 yr Seeing as we are throwing names into the hat, I quite like Jorge Jesus. The touchline would be interesting anyway. He actually did a great job at Benfica, consistently having to re invent his side having all his best players pillaged but kept on keeping them competitive and making a substantial profit. Think we'll stick with Jose for now though.
October 27, 201510 yr I can't even believe some are suggesting Alan f**king Pardew over Mourinho Why? are you so stuck in you ways that you can/will not see other ways. How many times has jose beaten Pardew? even top top managers have to start some where & Pardew has many good traits to his armory. I was glad Jose returned to Chelsea, but now he is having so many mental outbursts after ever game, fighting battles with ever body, which he has no chance of winning, even his own staff are not safe from his crazy outbursts, sorry, if it was just football we are judging him on I & plenty of people would back him to the hilt, but he is dragging Chelsea's good name in the mud, there is not a single person who will be shocked if he gets his marching orders this time, unlike last time.
October 27, 201510 yr Aitor Karanka for me. Jose's second in command at Real Madrid and doing a great job at Middlesbrough. Lots of similarities between him and Jose only Aitor Karanka is much calmer and more mature. I think he'd be just what we need right now.
October 27, 201510 yr So you want to replace José because of his outbursts and fights, with pardew? The pardew who has had loads of outbursts and fights? Edited October 27, 201510 yr by dkw

I have no issue with the fact you want Mourinho gone, there are reasons to justify it at the moment. I just don't see how you want Pardew to replace him based on what 10 games this season?
October 28, 201510 yr Author That squad could win major trophies without a manager, so good was it. This squad struggles under one of the best managers alive. This team is no where near the level of the team that still won things after Mourinho's first spell..... and imagine how much more they would of won had one of our top class managers been given time any other club would have given, perhaps Real Madrid aside. The squad that mourinho inherited was more or less the one that won the champs league, so what has he done to it? I for one have had enough of Mourinho, he has an amazing record, but only for a couple of seasons with each team, with everyone he managed you will see a common trait, immediate improvement, then reach a peak and a decline after that, then he leaves, he can't sustain a good team, i beleive his managing style isn't good for long term, he picks his favourite 13 or 14 and plays them to death, sells everyone else thats any good as he can't keep them happy, and will not integrate youth, meaning we have no new potential coming through and potentially missing out on amazing talent. This is putting aside his embarassing outbursts, he creates so many enemies. If he could've kept the team playing like they were at the beginning of last season and started to rotate i would back him all the way, but since the start of 2015 there has been a steady decline, even the end of last season it felt like we were hanging on rather than dominating, and now this season, this team is in free fall under him!! If he got the chop today i would not be disappointed.
October 28, 201510 yr Jose in. Can't even believe there's a thread on this. ^ this. Move the f**k on.
October 28, 201510 yr Agreed, move this thread on.Bloody fickle fans annoy me so much. Its tough at the moment but i trust Jose to sort it out.

October 28, 201510 yr Yes a few. Or does a loss count more than a win these days? Because I'm pretty sure last year we did OK...
October 28, 201510 yr Yes a few. Or does a loss count more than a win these days? Because I'm pretty sure last year we did OK... We lost 3/4 games in all competitions last season for the whole of the season. We've lost six games already and it's not even November, out of the league cup and sitting 3rd in our Champions League group. This goes way beyond "a few bad results".
October 28, 201510 yr Dint change much He improved the league position, then won the league, and he certainly didn't let it get to the europa league in the first place. Rather stick to talking about this season than trying to trash the last 2.
October 28, 201510 yr If i want negativity i will read the papers. We are supposed to be fans after all.

We were 3rd the year before and finished 3rd on the season
